well this was once rejected as a suggestion because it would cause lagg every time it would move, so how come its diffrent now?
Because ppl where thinking it would lag servers to death but animations are client sided just like the stuff optifine does. Besides with a option you could turn it off if needed.
I hope, no one is thinking, that i would suggest Nuclear-Explosion-Mode or something similar Overpowered, when reading the Topic.

There prolly more uses than the ones i listed above.
Ceramics have tons of more uses than just decorations alone...If this was implemented the decorations would just be a nice extra.
The reactor is really difficult to build... making a 4 uranium setup is the most difficult thing that i have to project in Minecraft (i have to start a breeder soon >.>) and i made it only with some help from the forum with the reactor planner AND the examples...
This "SHIT! is incredibly difficult! it blow up again! i'll never use this anymore!" thing is really common i think... so why make it a little user friendly adding some example?IMHO we must add directly in the wiki some simple reactor example, like some "ready-to-use accettable-efficient kinda-secure setup"... in this way lazy people can use the reactor even if they don't want the ULTRA EFFICIENT AWESOME CASUC making a good amount of power for a reasonable cost... the personal experiments are anyway advised.
This should send away the "explosion" scary fog around the reactor, letting us hope to implements something better for this awesome machine...

finally RL-solars are made with silicon and run off uv rays, micecraft solars are made with coal and pixie dust and run off a plot hole called "balance" so they are not going to be running off anything other than zombie burning sunlight for the foreseeable future if you don't believe me you can ask alblaka yourself

lol, don;t get me wrong i love me some EE mod for kicks and generally it's relatively balanced but it's still alittle over powering and is still cheating once you get almost all the items. it's like playing with godmode on or as an admin without all the crazy commands you have to memorize, it's just "select ring, cast lighting all over the place"

Secondly, solar panels and solar collectors work off ALL light, so it is absolutely not unrealistic. If anything it's more realistic. I gave a previous example of a solar powered calculator. They do exist and they do operate in artificial light.

Ragans reactor is still better because its cheaper. 1 excess heat can be pretty much ignored you wont be able to instantly refuel it 21+ cycles in a row.

As I stated, the light given off by glowstone is equivalent to sunlight and should be a viable light source for solar panels. Same with jack-o-lanterns. Light level 16.
No, I have not heard of one, spaced properly or not. This is because due to physics, you cannot generate enough light to power a solar panel with that solar panel. However, since thee are natural light generating blocks here, why not make the most of them?
Solar panels underground are unrealistic even in minecraft. Dont come with more stupid idea's.

Well combining generators into 1 big generator with slightly better efficiency (iam thinking about 20% max) does sound nice and it will motivate ppl to use less solars i guess.
Well i get more diamonds from finding diamonds than to convert 64 coal into 1 diamond.
I got computercraft, railcraft, industrialcraft, buildcraft and redpower and i still got like 40-50 id's left not to mention we will soon get acces to 4k worth of id's
Wooddust. A good thing, but i see these people coming with "which uses does it have?" and i would answer ENOUGH to implement it. I mean even Silver was smashed down by nearby everyone and i saw several Wooddustthreads, which got pwned too.
Some of the possible uses:

Planks
Fuel (10 Dusts are as much as Charcoal)
Macerting wooden Tools
Make it possible to craft wood dusts into wood pellets by using a compressor. Should give you more eu than charcoal does.
