Hmm, good point about the efficiency. I've been stripmining with auto-miners and I still don't exactly have a huge amount of uranium.

Also the uranium setup isnt very good like that. You are losing alot of efficiency like that. Go for something like this:

With only 1 uran cell touching the depleted cells i cant seem to go further than 73%. Still thats pretty good efficiency through.

Before there was a detector cable i used the item detector from rp to check if empty buckets where coming out of the reactor. Works pretty good too.
I just got a nice idea for a easy breeder. What if you could make a positive breeder that requires no warming up but recharges depleted cells in 1 cylce? I dont suppose you would get max efficiency but it should be very easy to use just drop in the cells and wait.
Edit: seems you can only recharge depleted cells for 73% this way in 1 cycle. If there only was a way to let it heat up quickly and then slow the heating up down. Prolly means you need buckets or ice which are feeded with a pipe after a certain time.
A breeder with over 9000 heat will recharge two sets of isotope cells in a cycle. (or one tick off it, which is negligible)

what i meen is that i would like one that i can get the most eu out of a reactor that matches my specs and also do you know of any good breeders thx for being responsive aswell

Most of the good designs are in my thread just take a look. I dunno what you exactly want but i think you will find what you are looking for there.

Ragan's reactor is a completely different design than yours except on the uranium setup. It has almost 2x more uptime too. Unless you improve it i cannot ad you to the list.

tier 3 will drain insane amounts of way more than a mass fab will drain. We would need a tier 10 storage to power it....MSFU does not nearly supply enough energy with 512 eu/tick. I tested this with 64 overclockers. MSFU couldnt keep up with the energy requirement at all. Actualy the macerator does absolutely nothing with 64 overclockers in it (its so slow you cant notice it).
It doesnt do a thing. The macerator stores about 800 eu no matter if i fill it with stacks of storage upgrades or not.

I was thinking more of a nuclear battery like recipe (i would run nearly endless anyway with 1eu/tick). Windmills dont make sense with a nuclear reactor XD.

If you would run 2 uranium at 1 eu/tick in a nuclear reactor @1 eff it will run for 55,55 hours. So suppose this wont be a op way of free energy by far.

I see 3 HD's in a row next to each other i think it can be optimized better.
Each water block in a 3x3x3 cube around the reactor provides 1 cooling. Water source blocks and flowing water both counts as water.

Nice work. I think it should be possible to get more cooling cells by using a different configuration (2 empty spots atm). I will give it a look later.
Though I have yet to use them, I would have preferred it that way as well.
Perhaps in an upcoming version that can be implemented, with legacy recipes for the old ones. Like 8 of them around a circuit gives the Tier 2 version; 8 Tier 2s around an advanced circuit gives the Tier 3.
Each tier should also be more energy efficient. Else tier 3 is unusable XD. It would drain too much energy.
