Added more info about the reactors should be pretty clear for newbies now

16 windgens cannot produce 500 eu/tick thats way too much that means they need to produce over 30 eu/tick each....
-
Scrap boxes = unlimited tin with other mods its easy to fully automate the production and then its just a matter of sorting and procesing the stuff you get.
-
Still have to wait till IC2 supports 1.0.0. I seen redpower and buildcraft already supporting it so this is the last mod iam waiting for

You clearly don't know how to read... I DONT WANT SEVERAL REACTOR CORES BECAUSE THEY TAKE MORE SPACE AND REQUIRES ME TO FILL SEVERAL REACTORS. I don't mind the few extra blocks of iron, copper, tin etc etc.
And the purpose of the designs is to make a SINGLE reactor as good as possible (And good isn't just efficiency...)
But considering the quality of your posts in the past and present all over the forum i will not bother with your "any design that isn't yours is flawed" mentality anymore.Merely stating facts dont get angry because of that.
Also i included alot of other ppls design in my best of the best reactor topic. They just need to match the quality else i wont ad them.

Your first reactor has:
3,32 more iron costs
3,32 more tin costs
3,52 more copper costs
3,66 more lapis costs
3,53 more redstone costs
3,59 more rubber costs
Than my budget mk1 reactor. I only need 3 to match the output and i will have resources left for another 0,5 reactor. It also got 2 eff instead of only 1,5 eff. More chambers in reactors are meant to increase eff not increase the eu per cost.Your second design is slightly more expensive and outputs less eu than the first one. Eff is 2 through. You are still better off making multiple smaller reactors for max eu per cost.
-
Still eff based on amount of eu you get from 1 uranium cell is less complicated.
-
Because no one was touching the compressor/snow balls, lol...
Never really touched nuclear myself, but I also disagree with the disallowing of water/ice for coolant in reactors. Granted, it's created some overpowered designs during it's usage, but the expense/logistics of a CASUC reactor merits the EU output. It's actually quite a challenge to design/setup a reactor where not only you had to funnel in materials faster than a second, but also the ability to have constant resources (even if they are infinite) at a time to keep up with the heat consumption of said designs...
Nobody even bothered about bucket cooling without Redpower 2 or BC installed.
Eff is the amounts of eu produced per uranium cell. Output got doubled so eff has to be doubled too.
-
I like the complex CASUC reactors it ads a whole new level to the reactors. It shouldnt be removed it should be improved.
-
water can be pumped which is a huge advantage over icecooling.
Also eff should be doubled. 2 uran cells making 40 eu/tick should give 4 eff not 2 but reactor planner shows 2.
-
Are you sure you sent me the correct link there? That is a 20 EU/t reactor, not nearly as good as 60 EU/t...
Its the correct link i can make like 4 of those for the same resources as 1 of yours. That and it has better eff.
-
with new update buckets got nerfed they only cool 250 heat now but ice got buffed it cools 300 heat now. Makes me wonder do they want us to use EE?
-
i wonder why ice got buffed and water buckets nerfed.
-
Nice then my CASUC reactor will run at 1280 eu/tick. This will also make nuclear reactors much more rewarding (but dangerous to newbs) compared to other power sources.
-
These reactors are kinda useless. You are better off making this:
http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/reactorplanner…001501521s1r11rIt will output more and with higher eff than your reactor.
-
Nice to see my budget design being used
-
Added the designs. I didnt added them all because some are just worse than others. For comparison i looked at average eu/tick, eu/cost etc. Starting to get a nice list of good reactors now.
Any mod could sticky this?
-
>>>READ THE RULES AND THE LIST FIRST BEFORE POSTING ANY DESIGNS!!!<<<(seriously ppl we are getting spammed by designs already in the list or who are already beated by another design in the list its happening too often)
What is this topic?:
Listing the best reactor designs sorted by mark intended for ppl who want to make their reactor but are wondering about the design. They can look here and see all good designs in 1 topic. All credits go to the one who created the reactor design. Post your reactor in this topic and if its good enough i ad it to the list.Rules:
-No useless eff 1, low eu/cost etc. I want this list to contain high quality reactors that have been properly designed.
-No mods other than IC2. Reactors that use redpower 2 or buildcraft or any other mod are not allowed.
-No SUC/CASUC designs (this means NO ICE OR BUCKETS!!). Having free spots for optional ice/bucket cooling is allowed through.
-Eu/tick is measured as average eu/tick
-Obsolete reactors will removed (a reactor will be considered obsolete when another reactor does exactly the same but better like with lower cost)
-Credits go to the first person that post in this topic. Iam not gonna check the whole forum if you see someone taking credit for your design pm me and show me the evidence.Terminology:
Reactor ticks = 1 reactor tick is 1 second.
Cycle = 10000 reactor ticks. Uranium cells last for 10000 ticks.

Negative (with less than 0 excess heat):
noneNote 1: Breeder efficiency is measured in the amount of recharged cells you get from 1 ore @9000 heat (unless that heat is clearly different). Its not affected by efficiency.
Note 2: Efficiency is the emount of eu you get on average from each uranium cell divided by 2. -
78 eu/tick is impossible if they are full. Dont you mean something like 128?
