You can wire up endless 60 eu/tick reactors to a glassfiber cable. Why? Because the cables arent limited on how many eu/tick is going through but on how many eu there is in 1 pulse which in this case is 60. Having more reactors will increase the amount of pulses but not what every pulse carries. Its a bit like real world electrics.

Hmm why would you bury a mk1 generator? It wont explode ever unless you change it into a mk5 or something.
-
You failed at maths just looking at the numbers i instantly see there is ~15% loss.
Also batbox + 4 blocks long copper cable should give you 0% loss problem is only 128 eu/tick can be transported through 1 such line so that means you need 8 batbox copper cable lines. Through expensive it will have no losses. About 480 batboxes and 1920 copper cables so really expensive but doable given enough time.
-
Better to use this http://test.vendaria.net/index…CXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Way cheaper, better eff and only slightly less eu/tick but since this is so cheap you can make more of them for the same resources.

With the new item detector block the previous safety mechanisms will prolly get obsolete but i gotta make one first
How you get so many buckets lol? Failed hacks?

So everything thats made with redstone is the same according to you lolz...You must be really blind if you dont see the huge diference between a tripwire system and spiro's system where water breaks a torch. The 2 are totaly diferent except in the fact a block gets destroyed and it reacts on that. If you dont believe me look at the screenshots and you will see the huge diference.
My tripwire topic was on the 1th page of this forum and you can expect ppl to atleast read the 1th page before posting. Not saying you shouldnt post any ideas that have been posted before but some credit to the original maker is nice just like i did with brickedkeyboards creation.
-
I said brickedkeyboard made the original idea of the bucket generator i just improved it so it worked with 1 deployer and optimalised times.
However this guy just post exactly the same idea as if its his idea. Tripwires where new before that only spiro had a emergency shutdown and tripwires are really diferent than having water destroy a redstone torch.
Just because the 3 current emergency shutdowns are based on heat doesnt mean they are the same. Then you prolly didnt read the topics.

I dont see your problem its way better like this now. You can use the ores for both mods.

So why are water mills so bad? If in a far more dense configuration and with far fewer resources I can make a static water mill farm at bedrock, why would I use windmills? Plus if you look at windmills at best you'll get 3eu, and then account for cable loss running from 120s to 5, you are below water mills running at 2eu.
Watermills only make 2 eu if you babysit them else they make max 0.25 eu, windgens make 2-4 eu on top of the world without any babysitting. Cable loss would be like what 5% with HV cable and transformer? So it would still beat watermills by far. Windgens are the best and cheapest energy to make if you make them at the top of the world.

I got a much more complicated version (almost all blocks are wired) of this with wool now and it shutsdown my CASUC reactor succesfully 5 out of 8 times.

By making a water sensor (for the ones not knowing how to make one here is a example: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9aBcRbZ2fk) and then making a hole in the botom of your reactor containment chamber and putting the water source block on a spot where it can evaporate its possible to shutdown your reactor once it passes 50% max heat. Since this is so simple and the water sensor part is already explained by the video i dont feel the need to post screenshots. Diferent designs of watersensors are possible but the way they work remains the same.
Advantages:
-Reactor shutsdown @ 50% max heat
-No need to replace anything except the water source block
-Simple to makeDisadvantages:
-Through its activated earlier its pretty slow to react and will not work on for instance mk5 reactors which overheat in seconds even through they react earlier
-May shutdown your reactor earlier than you want (not suited for 9000 heat breeders for instance)Just adding another option to the emergency shutdown arsenal
-
When i make a less risky one i will. Current reactor sometimes explodes when you login. Still dont know exactly what causes this but it have be caused by the way minecraft loads the world. I dont know a solution to that but i can make the reactor shutdown when it overheats problem is once cooling system is off it will happen in a matter of seconds so it has to be really fast.
-
You have to take in account the human factor. You cant refuel it instantly therefore this reactor with 5 min cd will produce more eu on average than yours:
http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…ib=1k10101001511621s1r11rIts not like you wait 2 hours in front of the reactor with uranium to refuel it everytime you most likely are busy somewhere else when it runs out of fuel. Effective eu in reality will be higher than http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…42=1k10101001511621s1r11r

Why everyone thinks a normaly functioning reactor should leak radioactive waste?....
-
Damn its hard to make a system thats fast enough to turn this reactor off before meltdown. I used tripwires all around the reactor (also the top and bottom) with wool so they burn fast but still it explodes 3 out of 8 times. While its better than my previous one i wont be happy until it turns off 7/8 times. Another thing to note the reactor is getting kinda big with all the redstone circuits in it.
Also tried to use a system based on evaporating water but its not fast enough :(. Reactor still explodes most of the time

128 solars cannot make 50k eu per sec you would need way more for that. 128 solars make 128 eu per tick and there 20 ticks in 1 second meaning 2560 eu per second. You would need 2500 solars to make 50k eu per sec.
-
Known issue they will increase the amount of eu that can pass in 1 pulse through tin (atm its 3 eu and windgens make max 4 eu).
-
You use 6 uranium to make 50 eu/tick bit of a waste even mk1 can have better eff.
-
Ye nice for stealing my idea? This is my tripwire idea....Also you dont need redpower for this it can be done with vanilla too:

Filters do exactly what those advanced wooden pipes do and they can function as a obsidian pipe. I tried using zeldos pipes but it crashes minecraft all the time so no buildcraft pipes till that gets fixed.
