Safety is one thing, but eff is quite another. This is my design http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…=1o10101001501521s1r11r10 (only 10 less eu/t) and I forget who's it is but here's the other http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…=1o10101001501521s1r11r10 .

However if you have RP2 or feel like 'the redstone one' you can build a far higher efficiency reactor for way less resources http://forum.industrial-craft.…page=Thread&threadID=3189 Two or three single cores in their own water enclosures hooked up to a 1 second out of 16 pulse will give you a /lot/ more power over a much longer time for your uranium.

Then you installed it wrong. Abort the mod.

Move everything in .minecraft/ somewhere else and run minecraft again; it will reset you to vanilla 1.0.0 ; test it and make sure it works.
Make a /backup/ of .minecraft/ (copy it somewhere else)
    Make another working copy.
Follow the modding instructions again using a program like 7-zip http://www.7-zip.org/ to work on the .jar files. Take it slowly, step by step.

Make a backup copy of that too, after verifying it works.

    Step 0: Survive
Make a house/treehouse of somekind as your base. You will want a food supply, a wood supply, and a place to grow rubber-trees (harvest only the leaves and tree-tap). This is a normal minecraft thing.

Step 1: RTFM. Go to the wiki, read the starting page, read the forum on how to build a world.

Step 2: Here's what wasn't in the manual. Basic machines accept 1 redstone dust in exchange for one basic operation.
Given that and a moderate to plentiful supply of rubber (which you should have before making your mining trip to the center of the earth /anyway/)...

    Macerator
    Macerate 1 coal
Combine 1 coal with 1 water bucket = empty bucket + hydrated coal
(I cooked my copper ore raw at this point since I was afraid of being starved of maceration ops; you could macerate 4 iron and then 2 copper though; depends if you're doing a windgen or normal-gen)
Make an 8-pack of single use batteries out of the hydrated coal, 1 single insulated copper wire and 1 redstone
Use the batteries /wisely/ (stingy application) to macerate enough iron to build your first generator. (If it's a wind gen you can use tin cable initially)
Build and hook up your generator.

Now you're using fuel and/or renewables of other kinds (charcoal only, save your coal) to run stuff.
    extractor
    (possibly) electric furnace
(possibly) mining equipment (drill, od scanner, pump, cells, mining pipe)

If you figure out the total for this list then you know what to go mining for on your trip to the center of the earth and how much it will cost to build (remember after the macerator your ores are worth double).

    As for /remembering/ the recipes....

Yes, yes it is. There are better recipe listing mods out there. This is not my bug, don’t ask me to change RedPower to make up for it. Or try Uristqwerty’s CraftGuide ( http://www.minecraftforum.net/…1133-181-craftguide-v121/ ).

You might have a block ID conflict between RP2 for 1.8.1 and minecraft 1.0.0; the crafting table (among some other stuff) conflicts.

Here's how to fix it, in the .minecraft/ folder move all the config, saves, buildcraft, redpower (and any other mod config folders) out to a backup area.

Now when you re-run minecraft you'll be testing it with no world and no-configuration. This will allow auto ID resolution to pick some different values.

IF that works you may want to use an ID conversion program to import old worlds in to the new block IP mapping.

Simple version; there is no safe way of high EU.

You will require either buildcraft + additional pipes mod OR Redpower2 to build a Constantly Applied Reusable Use Coolant (everyone else but me calls it a CASUC, except I argue no resources are being consumed (the water involved regenerates) and thus the description isn't accurate) reactor which is cooled by say, water buckets. (In the build planner you'll want one that is missing one/two chambers (depending on your build plan) and has a multiple of 250 excess heat per second before adding buckets to match that, make sure you change the buckets per second option+tick to the correct value; oh and building it... you'll want to experiment with feeding it buckets at that rate or better. RP2 is very easy to do that in.)

An alternate plan if not using either of those mods is explored in my nuclear battery thread; but there you'd need to build and route power from ~4 reactors per 128 load; though one design could almost do it with 2 sets of reactors (the costs are higher though so you'd probably want to go the other way).

However there's also a glitch in 1.42 which causes a crash at the end of reactor cycles. Supposedly a patch is known and a bugfix release is expected 'soon' (probably a safe bet before Xmas).

Normally I'd have tested this already in my world; except I went right to windgen (thank you RP2 trees!). Try to reproduce in single player as well.

You should probably also rename your post's title to include [bukkit] since it's /very likely/ specific to that (with the number of SMP servers I'd have expected someone else to report this by now)

you need java installed locally and to unblock the site and java.com in any script-blockers you have. If you have openjdk (anything really) installed and a recent (your distribution's package manager) provided copy of just about /any/ modern web-browser these should work.

Could someone post the 1.337 server config with the values for wind, nuclear and solar displayed? For some reason my config is generating with just the normal generator value but none of the others.

I have the same case in 1.42 as well (or so I recall anyway); if those variables exist they aren't being flushed out to the file and thus aren't 'documented' to prospective end users.

i will get the modloader.txt as soon as possible but i kind of wanted to have induatrialcraft as well as my other mods

how do you get from tree cuter to other things?
    just out of curiosity

You get it by becoming an valued member of this community through showing your ability to remain on topic, relevant, and helpful to others. (That is to say, most forum software has vanity 'ranks' at given levels of posts; you achieve more posts by generally following the rules. Following the set of rules I described just now and generally 'not being a #$%^' are all any sane place's rules ever reduce to.)

There are non Mark I designs which have /other/ engineered things which prevent explosion (cut-off timers, switched use, other such things); however all of them /can/ explode if the engineering controls fail.
