Nice Work McFistyBuns -- I too have been waiting on something like this.
Let me know when you feel its 'stable' enough, and I'll be happy to do a Youtube Mod Spotlight for you. Just say when :D.
Like others in the thread, I'd love to see this work 'both ways' -- simply so I could generate energy with steam engines, use teleport pipes to move it elsewhere, store it in an MFSU, and convert it back into BC energy for powering a quarry. Excessive? Perhaps
but it'd be a fun build!!

I've never tried BC + Reactors, but I read somewhere (during the v1.00 days) that it only pulled from the top row.
Is that still true?
-
I'm not sure, i haven't used it in a while
-
Pretty cool idea actually :). IF you have eloram's redstone pipe addon, it emits a redstone signal when an item passes through. Another way to prop the door open.
-
I think the mod developer is working on getting it to use cells as well.
-
What does deflector do? Also, Depth seems to be Height, and Height doesn't seem to make any changes. Am I doing something wrong?
-
1.9 is a pre-release, so I don't know that the team is planning to release an IC2 version for it until its fully released.
-
Its even easier now, actually. Just install IC2 as instructed on the WIKI : http://wiki.industrial-craft.net/index.php?title=Download
Then add Buildcraft, EquivExchange (Forge), PortalGun, IC2 addons (like adv. machines, etc), and Additional Pipes .
With those mods, I've not had to change a single ID. It all worked flawlessly.

I would ditch Id resolver and manually edit the conflicting ID's, not that hard with the included config files, just takes some time but well worth it.
Great Mod, keep up the good work!
Ditto (on both notes, but especially fixing ID's by hand). That way, when you add a new mod, you can ensure that its the new mod that gets a different ID. No world corruption possible that way ;).
That said, I've never used ID resolver.

I do apologize, but I am unable to reproduce the bug. Please post a list of your mods, and I'll be happy to see if I can't fix this quickly.
I was able to reproduce this.
If you have a machine (Induction furnace included) with a lever on top, it is getting redstone power. If that machine is TOUCHING a MFE (or MFSU) it sends that redstone signal to the MFE/SU -- thereby causing the MFE/MFSU to stop sending power out. The only power it'll send is 'Extra' power.
Make sure your MFE/MFSU isn't getting a redstone signal from anywhere, including the Rotary Macerator right next to it.
This is not a bug with the addon, as it happens with Induction furnaces as well.

Wasn't sure where to post this, but this looks like something a LOT of people around here might want to get their hands on :).
http://www.minecraftforum.net/…dcraft-222-bucket-filler/
Its an item that you can hook up to your liquid pipes (water/LAVA) and put a bucket into this, and it spits out a filled bucket.
QuoteWhy did you make this?
IC2 is the only reason. So i can make geothermal generators that are totally automated.Note: I haven't downloaded or tried this yet, I just know a lot of people around here might like it :). I have no idea if it works, but it looks legit to me. I'll probably test it when I get home from work today.
-
Zippinus got it :).
Also, his posting here reminds me that I didn't include my Addon spotlights in the OP -- they've been added.
-
I think i got them off Kuu's thread. I was going to use Nargons, but his image links are broken
-
Yea, Ee is balanced around itself. It's a nice way to turn some materials into others. I think it's a great mod ;).

No... everything inside the generator was as I left it. I purposely engineered the setup to have the reactor just behind the uranium cells in heat. In my test models, the reactor ended up at something like 9500 heat at the end of the cycle when both uranium cells finally wore out.
Thats it then -- it explodes at 10,000 but will cause the other effects at lower temps. 9500 is definitely enough to evaporate water.
If you put your source blocks a few blocks above your reactor, so that they basically 'rain' onto it -- the reactor will evaporate the 'moving' water blocks, but the source water blocks will remain intact.
