Rehosting the IC2 jar file. I'm pretty sure he doesn't like that.
Taken from the IC2 post, "As well, noone besides the author and persons elected by the author are allowed to provide any download links. Everyone else is NOT allowed to public any sort of download, though he/she may hand out links to this website/thread instead."

Unfortunately, I can't.
1) Al will stab me with a Nanosaber
2) I'm having a heck of a problem with Linux and ModLoader hating each other. -
ModLoaderMP + the fix? You forgot them.
-
Corrupted download of the IC2 JAR, please retry.

Is there a ModLoader.class in minecraft.jar? If not your zip utility is broken (like Ubuntu's archive manager for example)
Dammit. Modloader.class ain't in there. Thanks, give me a few to do some extracting+adding+rezipping and I'll edit this post with the specifics.
EDIT: Archive Manager hates me. I extracted a fresh jar, unzipped Modloader, cut and pasted the files over, re-archived the jar. Launched the game, nothing. Ran via terminal, same error. Looked inside the jar, no Modloader.class.

Brilliant... I installed ML, MLMP, MLMP Fix, Forge, deleted the 'paulscode' folder, installed the fix (as per another topic) and still epic load time.
And the same error from the Terminal as above.
Judging by the error, it's something on Modloader's end, half considering hopping over to Risugami's thread and asking about it.

Downloaded a fresh jar, wiped all of the mods I had, redownloaded ModLoader, MLMP and the fix, Forge and IC2 only. Installed the pre-reqs into the jar, created a 'mods' folder and placed the IC2 jar in there. I reran it via terminal, same error:

Yeah, like the title says, I've been having trouble with IC^2. I added all of the prerequisites before hand: Modloader, ModLoaderMP + Fix, and MinecraftForge (I also installed Audiomod for Equivalent Exchange).
I launched Minecraft through the linux terminal after hanging a few times, and I got this:
Exception in thread "Minecraft main thread" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: ModLoader

Mods installed:

IC2
Timber
Wireless Redstone
Equivalent Exchange

Ofc, I was being sarcastic.

Confound it! Broke my sarcasm sensor!

Actually, I was thinking about the buggy damage reduction from the Jetpacks and Q. Boots; wouldn't it be possible to set up an "if" statement that if the fall distance is above a certain limit:
1) Quantum Boots - the damage value is sent as null and the electrical power is reduced by the amount that would have been applied to damage?
2) Jetpacks - Similar, but without the "electrical damage."Apologies if this doesn't seem quite right, my knowledge of how these, Java and Minecraft works is extremely limited.

I know that while holding L-Shift, the helmet will refill your air, not entirely sure about the chestplate.

No problem.

Yeah, Forge must've been updated and published within about the last 24 hours. Yesterday, I didn't see the whole "1.10 version" link, pretty sure it said "1.0.7" or something like that.
-
It may be a bug... but it's too cool to remove!
Sounds like the whole "Clear Water" bug from the opti-mods, the dirt blocks receive light, think they're above water and develop grass. But yeah, it's cool.

0_0 Wow, I use Sphax a lot and from where I'm sitting those look amazing! Nice job.
