Well, more like your stuff crashes when you reference things like ic2 items, either way, it has the same result

if it works with client ic2 1.106, then it works with smp since they are the same thing... I think you must just have a bug kevin
-
I don't think you can set block id's to that high of a value... try setting it to <=256 if you have the id space
-
now updated for 1.106!
-
enjoy everyone
, now updated to 1.106, rest of my addons will be hot on its tail
-
ik, for me it fills right slot, then left, and then tries to fill both up to 64 stack size
-
odd, the induction furnace shift clicking works for me
-
that or learn to code, so you can make your own horribly broken version of the game
-
reason it's crashing is because the api tries to reference classes that don't exist (the base ic2 ones)
-
Nr1: inventory space is not really a problem, ever heard of chests? you're not supposed to be able to carry everything with you at once
Nr2: quantum makes you invincible, whether or not nano does the same, quantum lasts alot longer
Nr3: how hard is it to download something? plus if ic2 took over these addons, they would have to keep it updated or let the creators join the team. Either way, it would be alot messier and complicated than making you click a dozen times
Nr4: I agree that coal/bio fuel cells are useless, but why take it out? it's just more things for modders to use
Nr5: I agree that reactors need security. As for nukes, why not just use the config and take them out? The only thing nukes can really be used for is griefing, doesn't matter if the griefer just started or has been playing a month. Plus, making it require a reactor wouldn't help because with x-ray mod, a griefer can get one up and running in under an hour. -
nice, this will definitly be useful
(p.s: grats on your first addon!) -
in the broken ic2 version, decompile with ic2 and minecraftforge
in the api version, use the forge install and then drag and drop ic2's api into the src foldernot sure if the broken ic2 still works in mc 1.3.2, last I tried it was in 1.2.5
-
give me a shout if you get stuck on something
(p.s: you aren't supposed to get a working decompiled ic2, you have two mcps, one for you code plus the api, and one for a broken version of ic2 for reference) -
working on it right now

yes but like I said, the fact that the lesu-storages have a tileentity means that they cause some lag
besides, even if your method is non-laggy, it wouldn't work for something like lefty suggested, because it would be made out of dirt or something, so I would have to rely on constant scans which are super laggy -
I'm just saying no matter how you code it, you are going to get more lag from a multiblock machine than you are going to get from a single block with a tileentity
probem with greg's idea is that if you have the "walls" of your multiblock search for the controller and not the other way around, you have a bunch more tileentities that produce lag when mc has to do an update call on each one of them -
still sounds a bunch more laggy than a single block
-
not sure I know what you mean, I generally try to stay away from multi-block structures, because they are much more difficult to code without accidentally having severe exploits
that or they are really laggy -
And thats the reason why i have my mouth shut 99% of the time (irl at least, be grateful i pass my inner thoughts into a blasphemy/softener filter before posting anything)either your filter is messed up or you have a sicker, more negative mind than I'd ever have thought was possible

first of all, an update is on the way, I'm actually working on it right now
for your concerns about the thermal gens, so you can have an efficent system but seriously, it would require a huge amount of effort to transport 225 (15 * 15) buckets of lava to your thermals
and if you put in in an existing lava lake, there is not one big enough in the normal world so you would have to live in nether
not to mention how the heck would you get it in an existing lava lake?
also even if you do spend the time to do it, is that much effort worth ~40 eu/tick? why not make 4 turbinesolars?
I was thinking of making it level dependant, but the idea of a lava sea/world core doesn't really fit in with some of the ideas I have plannedwind mill towers will not be possible with windturbines because they require a wind tunnel which not very many will fit in and are kind of bulky
