Display MoreSo basically with Red Power installed you can pretty much run a Nuclear Reactor using nothing but uranium and water buckets. You could also do something similar with water mills, using buckets and tubes.
In my opinion I think this is way OP. I know this is not Industrial Crafts fault, I just wish there was a option in the config file that would make it so you cant connect tubes to machines.
Another Issue I would like to address is the solar panels. I know its a bit more expensive to make. But I really think they should be nerfed just a bit. I know they only work during day time. But face it most of the time on my server at least I'm always setting the time back to 0 when it starts to get dark. Or if your playing single player you probably always go to bed. So the Solar panels are pretty much on 24/7.
To fix this, I think it would be best to make solar panels give .05 EU each instead of 1. I am aware many people won't like this. So would it be possible to add a option in the config file that would allow you to change the EU output of the solar panel. This way people who liked it the old way, don't have to change anything, and if people think its to op they can easily adjust it in the config.
Another Issue I have a problem with is empty cells and the nether. You can go to the nether with 10 stacks of empty cells and return with 10 stacks of lava cells in about 10 minutes. That's about 640 cells. That about 13 million EU that you just harvested in 10 minutes.
A fix to this I would say is to not allow you to revive a lava cell by using a empty cell on a source block of lava.
Or again, at least add a option in the config to disable picking up lava cells using empty cells on lava blocks.
I was also going to mention the tin bucket to iron ingot exploit that you can do when you have RedPower Installed, but I see there is a option in the config that disables the bucket recipe using tin.
So anyways. These are just suggestions. Go easy on me.

i know that max fps has no cap blacnced has a cap of 60 fps and power saving mode has a cap of like 45. but is their a way to cap you fps without changing those settings?
I tried making an automatic water gen system with 16 gens running constantly, and does work, but its not free. You'll pay for it with your FPS if you make too many of them.
ya im only going to have 16 since that is 32 eu/t. but i havent noticed a drop in fps at all......

Recipe would have gold dust or golden circuit.
i really dont think we need a iteam that we only craft once since i have like 9 stacks of gold and only like a stack of copper tin and iron
i think ic2 should have more uses for gold orther than than synthictic glowstone and gold wires. gold is used for majority of electonics since it is so mallable and conductive.
some suggestion could be make circuts have gold instead of refined iron or make gold blocks and compress and get a couple(4) of advanced gold cables that can handle mv but have like 10 or 15 blocks until loss.

Display MoreI thought of some problems people have with armors. If you are about to wear nano or quantum-armor you normally only wear 3 pieces since the chest-piece is reserved for bat or lappack. With non-electric weapons the Nano/Q-Chestpieces will have a purely military usage. But still some other Chestpieces could fit as alternative improvements to the batpack (next to the lappack which is the only improvement of the batpack actually).
1. Small Change in the Electric-Jetpack
Maybe just switch the Batbox with a Batpack and allow the electric jetpack to work like a normal batpack in addition to flying.
2. Backpack-Addition
It's a Batpack with some additional space to store some items (maybe 9 slots?), I don't really know if it is possible to create an additional inventory if you use a certain item. But again IC2 does some things that I not believed to be possible earlier :P, maybe it could be used to store ammunition later.
3. Hazmat-Addition
I read about the Hazmat-Suit. In most cases you will be wearing it while mining to avoid lava-damage or falling-damage. Then again a chestpiece which can't store energy makes it unlikely that people even use it.
I would price the Backpack similar to the Lappack since it is quite useful. The E-Jetpack is expensive enough. And the Hazmat-Suit will have the drawpack of losing energy upon damage (since it protects against quite a lot of things, and if it would not break or deplete it would be too strong.

man that is really cool i rember in alpha when this sapling i planted grew up like 45 blocks and at the top had a radius of about 10 ....... it was amazing excpet for trees only grow like 6-7 blocks now
New to IC2 and Minecraft in general so if I'm asking stupid questions or if this is in the wrong place I apologize but, I started a new 1.0.0 world, got settled, etc. and I got a shiny new generator with a macerator attached. I was trying to automate it using BuildCraft pipes and engines(I'm using IC2 through technic) but I ran into a problem. When more than one ore is present in the input chest, the second type of ore will not enter the macerator because the macerator takes longer to process the ore than it takes for the ore to be transported through the pipe. For instance, if there is one tin ore and one copper ore in the input chest and the pipes start pumping, it sucks out the tin and places it into the macerator, the macerator starts processing but it does not finish before the one copper ore reaches it so the ore pops out the top. I think redpower has timers that can pulse the redstone current so it will only pump out a new ore after the previous ore is processed so does anyone know how long the macerator takes to process an ore? Or, alternatively, does anyone else have a better idea to automate the macerator so I don't have to stand there and do it all manually? Thanks.
