It checks for obstructions all around it (rather than just the front), so if nearly half the blocks are obstructions it's not going to get enough wind to turn.
Thanks a lot, after about moving it about 10~15 blocks forward it started to work. That is not very clear or explained anywhere I've seen, and I think that mechanic could be rethinked, it obligates you to put the generator in mid air, aesthetically not ideal.
Yeah there are no other turbines what so ever. The only thing I can think of is that the turbines need to be completely floating in the air and not in front of a house or a mountain like mine currently is.
Sorry to revive this but there is still something wrong for me.
On the first question back in november the windmeter said "Wind Strength: MCW" with no value, so I think that could've been a bug.
But even now, I'm on a completely different server, with a different modpack, and the following is happening:
As you can see, windmeter tells me 52.8 WC, rotor need between 10 and 60, there are no other wind turbines, but still the wind is too weak.In front of me there are plenty air blocks, even though begind me is a mountain, which was maybe why I thought it could not be working, but its doesn't make much sense to me.

Sorry if this is a stupid question. But after a while playing on a server, the Wind Turbine stopped working. Wind comes and goes so I thought it as normal, but it's been like that for a couple days now (Real Life days).
Windmeter say "Wind Strength: MCW" which doesn't make any sense to me. Could that be a bug or am I missing something?

Fixes: the Enet bug which was a pain into the but. Sorry for letting you wait so long. But there was something else (which is the next thing) which i do needed to test and implement to Uncomplication too...
Added: Threaded EnergyNet. Removes the lag from the World. So the CPU takes care of it directly. Note: To many dimensions "Chunkloaded" will cause problems if you Computer can not handle to much threads. But that is starting at about 200+ normally.. (servers even higher)

And it works when you load the world after the game start? (First world load that instance)
The first time the world loads the cables seem to be connected, I havent tested if energy was flowing correctly though. It happens after I log off for like 5 minutes and then come back, sry but idk the chunk or world event that causes that.
I don't think there is any relevant information here, but. I tested it again and it happened after I reloged.

I had a problem with cables not connecting to other cables and machines after the chuck unloads, on a server.

I didnt have the chance to test this yet, but it got me curious. Can I disable the recipe changes and keep only the old E-Net? I like to keep the balance they are aiming for crafting and have the chance of exploding things if I do something wrong like the old times. But I also have no idea how the experimental E-net config they already have would behave, lots of bugs I imagine =P

So I`m curious, with the new windmills system on IC2 with the kinetic generator is this addon kinda integrated to the main mod now or will it still be developed to enhance the the basic ones?
