- Ejector: obvious. Maybe not make it a requirement to output items, but allow it to force output into only a certain direction

Speaking of which, why hasn't the Miner been updated to support upgrades?
Did you configure the ejector to only go to the hopper? If yes, then this is a bug, if no it's normal.
I suppose you could try removing all mods, then adding them all back in, with IndustrialCraft being first

It looks like the problem here is that you are trying to add 2 different recips with the same input. I would suggest making your obsidian item casing crafted with the metal former instead.

Try allocating more RAM, or using 64 bit Java (if you aren't already). You could also try Java 8, the incompatibility with Forge was fixed, and it's been said to give performance boosts.

It's pretty rare to find a modded server with only one mod. The larger ones try to cater to the largest amount of players, so they will have several mods to try and cater to everybody's needs. A smaller server, like yours, will be private.
Since his code isn't really all his, I don't know if you need to ask him or not. Better to see what he says though.
Hmm, well by that logic shouldn't I follow the modpack rules of the original mods? All of which are open?

May I request a fixed version of Railcraft recipes that allows ore dictionary Iron and Steel plates? Not the recipes changed, but just make them accept other mods' plates.
