The problem is that my computer is 5 years old and the data inside the disk is somewhat valuable, otherwise i wouldn't be doing this.
-
Now I'm the one with technical problems... my HD is freezing at 100% usage, trying to fix it... (i cant even start it as everything is almost frozen...
Chkdsk running on boot atm. -
I could have thought about it since they came with donkeys...
Anyway, neither of them has a mod called donkeycartcraft or anything like that has creative license or whatever those things are. -
Although i doubt they would let it to get exposed so easily. If well protected, it would be able to withstand the worst accidents ever while keeping the "fuel tank" safe, ready to be recycled.

Minecarts with one horsepower

Edit : i don't think that 8g or 0,683 cm3 of thorium would be enough to cause a big explosion, but at least somewhat contaminate the environment, if exposed, in a car accident, for example.
-
A shame the article did not mention the size of the fuel rod.
Actually, we can calculate it according to this information : "The company is experimenting with a mini-turbine that would use about eight grams of thorium to fuel your car for 100 years"
Density is 11,7 g per cm3 so...
8/11,7 = 0,683 cm3 , less than a mililiter (1cm3) of thorium.
That would be a cube with n = 0,88cm. -
But...think of the action movies! Exploding fuel is much cooler than a little exploding Thorium
I think that thorium undergoing a fission while in a car tank would cause a pretty damn explosion, if not, a stupidly high radioactive environment.
I just wonder if we can power an electric car with RTGs...
That way we could use materials less inclined to undergo fission, like strontium (maybe americium) ? -
Well, i had the oportunity to edit the windmills page and i really disliked the format, if compared to wikispaces...
Editing it is awfully hard (for beginners) as you don't have an instant preview of what you are doing and must edit everything while in code.Regarding GT wiki page format, well, they are all different because they were created different people.
Still, they are easy to read and very useful. -
Then call machines energy usage as "potency" , in EU/t, instead of watts.
-
The thing is, a car would run for a century over thorium fuel, while it wouldnt last a day while using fossil fuel.
I know that, in volume or mass there may be muuuuch more fossil fuel, but i bet that we can mine enough thorium to last for over a millenium. -

2. Make a community wiki which will most likely suffer from trolling and will look similar to other wikis, however the making of the website will be faster then the other two options
This is a good option. The GT wiki is community run, people have to apply first, before having access to edit. [I'm the one who approves them by the way]
Not to mention i can simply revert unwanted changes and ban any trolls between the members, but there were none so far."industrialcraftcommunitywiki.wikispaces.com" maybe?
GT wiki format is fairly easy to use, with the exceptions of widgets, but those can be properly managed if you know a bit of html code. -
Hell, people play survival, only me not?
I dont start MC about week
My friends gonna kill me, cause I promise then I'll do update to 1.6.4 before 5 days
I have no time and no taste to do it.btw. master - Works go good, relatively
If I don't count 113 bad tries with obfuscating Buildcraft for use it in my dev mods like IC2

You are not the only one. I don't play MC in weeks, if not months.

No. "Power". "Wattage"? It sounds ridiculous.EU = Power unit.
EU/t = Power over time, which is wattage. (Rl -> J/s) -
Currently, it is more like wattage and thats it.
-
Glad that IC² is getting better documented, updated to new content, soon.
[GT still needs more people for that sake - read my signature :3]

Why off topic? It is related to IC².
This post fits well the support section, regarding content related "issues".
Your "issue" is that you don't know what is going on with IC² and we are "supporting" you to fix it.
