It is a biased random.
~90% of the time you get the parent crops, the other ~10% you get a mutation based off the tags of the parents. Fun fact is that the more crops there are, the easier it is for a crop to mutate.
See GregTech for example, crops mutate quite easily. -
By now documentation is necessary. I don't see any problems myself. Would help popularize a bit crops too.

root length from what I have heard is crop type dependant, which might be why aurelia and ferru can check the blocks below them just fine while terra/netherwart doesn't.
Crops are not random, but theres a ton of RNG on it. Growth, yield and breeding all have some sort of it.

Leave the "random" one with information that the thread is for discussion, whining and report of whatever.
Redirect links to each individual thread and the website would be existing in all threads. -
My opinion is: use crops or bees. Those are more server friendly and do the same stuff if not better.

Is there documentation available on the full list of items blacklisted by GT recyclers? I discovered the hard way that stone dust is blacklisted (first, it wouldn't go in from the hopper until I put some in manually, then after it processed around 5 or 6 stacks of it, I had no more scrap than I started with). I'm not upset about it, given how easy it is to get stone dust, but I'm curious what else is blacklisted without being listed in IC2.ini.
Stone, Snow and anything that derives from them via processing (sand, stone bricks, glass...).
Tiny and small thingies are also blacklisted.
IC2 recycler blacklist still applies aswell.Also, there should be a NEI thing that shows the recycler blacklist. I remember opening it with the L key (recipe lists or something like)

What would you think about an Radio in MC that you can insert your own songs (And hear them together with other players, if you want)?
Also sharing button exsists so people can download it from you if you provide it.I'd like such. Although I don't know how I feel making other people listen to what I do.
What about a VOIP thingy aswell if it is not too hard?
Which would have four options. Local, global, realistic-local and private.
The first would make players within "insert X meters range here" listen to you.
The second is obviously a global thing.
The third would make players within "insert T meters range here" listen to you, however the sound gets quieter depending on the distance between the players.
The fourth is a private chat between the selected players. You have to accept/create "parties".Obviously, there would be an option to mute players on all options (except the third).
