I'm almost certain I've seen a microwave book in game.

There is one , but it doesnt say X can be cooked, Y can't be cooked, Z blows up.
It says that things that are like X can be cooked, while things that are like Y and Z may blow up.

Aka, it is too imprecise, although common sense is probably enough to keep it safe.
What about adding a NEI recipe page for microwave, listing everything that can be cooked safely (everything else explodes) ?

Three suggestions about cable coloring :

Allow cables to be painted inside inventory, and those when wont immediatly connect to other colored cables.
Allow cables to retain color upon removal. Color can be removed by placing the colored cable in the crafting, like the painter.
A new set of colors, which is made of redstone/glowstone and a dye and (glowing color), those colors will prevent cables from connecting to machines and any other color different from its own.

I'm always watching Kane (he makes some really good videos, maybe even close to dw-level) and like the server and all that, but GT is just not my style. I love watching people suffering from it (and especially liked that moment when Kane understood that generator now is crafted from Steel Machine Hull instead of Machine Block and shouted "Oh Greg!". I laughed so hard...).

The ones that suffer from it are not the ones that the mod was designed for :3
I like those challenges and easily overcome them.

I got to tungstensteel already in kane server.

I've played FTB (1.2.5 insanity) with Sentimel and... when we hit bees stage, i log onto the server and suddenly went close to Austere bees... Oh that was terrible... Don't ask me what happened there.

    Boom.

The Energy API has pretty much been finalized at this point. They are just adding more machines at this point. So again, I would like an APM release for IC2_EXP as you are one of the two remaining mod devs I'm waiting for. The other is Frogcraft, and the author has agreed to update to IC2_exp as well. (Just look at the last page of the forum post). Your mod being more important now that GT's Charge-o-mat has been deprecated and there being no other alternative.

Nope, the e-net is a duct tape one, it is NOT finished.
It is being reworked by player and will be released sometime, with more complex stuff to manage energy, hopefully.

Edit : FYI you can use GT battery boxes as charging stations, like the old charge o mat (except for the AOE charging, but for that you have charge pads).

Previously, GraviSuite was the limit (it was basically the most expensive item in the game), but now Quantum Ring and Multicore Solar Panel will be your limit.

GregTech is the limit, with the awfully expensive but high return fusion reactors.
You should consider playing it again with the newest version.
Or even join kane hart's server where i am playing alongside some other forum users.
[I can suggest to have your mod added to the pack by the way]

"Make my Nuclear Reactor safe and self-managed" block is somewhat OP =)

The mod is about "control", so controlling its fuel and other components (coolant or vents) is also part of it :3

That also allows anyone to manage reactors without even knowing what they are doing, really. :D
"Find a good looking design, input materials, run it!"

If you still think its OP, making the reactor safe is already somewhat OP :D , because self management is not hard to do with GregTech.

    @1:
Without additional cost? Well, in order to get 1 of these Energized Nether Stars, you need to mine 4*162000 of Unstable stone, which is not infinite BTW.

Aaaand i didnt see the star. I mistook it for empty space (as it is a bit dark).
    teehee.
    :3
Well, you could allow us to produce antimatter in a more technical way [damn particle accelerators + liquid UUM], alongside having us to carry some oxygen cells while in unstable dimension (as there is only unstable air, not fitted for living) ?

    Is that cruel enough?

    Display Spoiler

Multicore solar panel = EV solar panel without a cost increase, it should require some super conductors to fuse them together, the only problem is that ASP are cheap in my opinion.

    hoho:
    Wikipedia says so:
An explosion is a rapid increase in volume and release of energy in an extreme manner, usually with the generation of high temperatures and the release of gases.

    Wikipedia :
"The reaction of 1 kg of antimatter with 1 kg of matter would produce 1.8×10^17 J (180 petajoules) of energy (by the mass-energy equivalence formula, E = mc²), or the rough equivalent of 43 megatons of TNT – slightly less than the yield of the 27,000 kg Tsar Bomb, the largest thermonuclear weapon ever detonated. "

That enormous amount of energy will be radiated and absorbed by "matter" around the center of anihilation, causing extreme volume increase by thermal expansion.

The thing is that not even a gram of antimatter has been produced so far.

What about this new Toy :

    Nuclear Management Control Block :

Designs from URL (talonius app) and GregTech data orbs are needed for this block to work (or manually programmed ones).
It will run a quick simulation and test if the reactor is safe (using actual IC² code, to be sure it is safe).
After running the tests, it will try to copy the design using items of an adjacent inventory (This also applies to other reactors - that would allow us to make transfers between reactors)
While the reactor is running, it will refuel fuel cells and condensators, take out depleted cells and near melted components (95% heat).
If any of the components is missing (aka no more fuel cells or components to match the design) it will stop the reactor.

    Ideas :

    Change Villages Behavior :
New Villages with an "Industrial looking" with several structures. (You can break them, but that will make them cease their function AND will make villagers hunt you like there is no tomorrow)

    Powerplant :
A random type of powerplant (coal-fired,geothermal, wind, solar, nuclear) which will sell power to you for money.
Prices varies from one type to another, with the nuclear one being the cheapest.
The powerplant will buy fuel from you (coal , lava and uranium) .

    Mine :
A Mine where the villagers extract metals and everything for their needs. You can work on them (by using their shafts) to mine stuff.
Mines buy ores and coal from you. [Selling coal and uranium to the powerplant is more worthy, if you have those types of powerplant in the village]
Villages with coal and solar powerplants will buy coal at a higher price.

    Smeltery :
A smeltery where the villagers smelt metals for their structures.
Smelteries buy ingots and dusts from you. [Selling ingot/dusts are more worthy than selling the raw ore]
Villages with wind and solar powerplants will buy iron at a higher price.

and some other structures that an industrial city may have (i'm lazy to say them all).

You're supposed to be mining Antimatter with an atomic disassembler (and therefore hurting yourself to death) or quarring. When you break antimatter stone, it drops antimatter molecule with chance 1/500. You craft antimatter pile with 9 antimatter molecule and then finally 1 antimatter glob with 9 antimatter piles. So, you need to break ~162 000 antimatter stone (and don't forget, it's not infinite... so you should hurry up on servers..) in order to get 1 antimatter glob. Is that balanced? I think so.

EDIT: Yay, i've sorted out all the problems with GitHub. https://github.com/mak326428/Leve…d1e1b2460bd3c7f

The thing is, that rock shouldnt be called antimatter, but something like "Unstable matter".

Because you would instantly vanish if that were antimatter, really.
