Basic GT tool repairing for common materials used in tools?
-
I don't mind if I'm not a boss. I could be a GT trader maybe? (sells basic tech items and some rarer materials).

I'm for thaumcraft for magitech reasons (how cool it is to generate electrical energy from energized nodes?). I don't mind not being able to use it till the end of the GT tech, for example.
You could also possibly nerf the crystal spawns. Completely disable TC oregen and use GT oregen to rarely ever spawn those, in another planet (mars ancient tech?).
Nodes would also rarely spawn only on mars (if possible), magic biomes can't be seen on overworld anymore. -
Well, the NPC is nerfable, but that doesn't mean that he should be nerfed.
It is an NPC Robot, not the real Greg. That NPC would be like a Suicide Booth. Punch him and he will instantly kill you. And he pays you if that kill is your very first Death.
That reminds me of hyperion and the reconstruction thingies of it.
An idea is to make the player spawnpoint fixed on a spot and that can only be changed if another reconstruction facility is built (by the players).

Minimalist Technology v0.3 is now out ! And here's the list of new stuff.
GT :
- Bending cylinders
- Electric heaters
- Sensors
- Marble and Basalt compatibility
- Chunks of metals
- Diamond-type and Glass-type texture tweaks for ore blocksIC2 :
- Heat generators.
- Some internal cleaning.Screenshot
About your sensors retexture, zerrens did the same mistake
I have to inform you that those 6 Buttons you fully ignored in your Texture are FUNCTIONAL. It is almost impossible to see the location of those Buttons you painted over with your 24-Button Keypad.
How are those buttons functional? They don't seem to be pushable by hand, or screwdriver?
They increment and decrement the Value on the Display, as long as the Mode is neither Display nor Percentual. Mode switching is via Screwdriver.

Port G4 (and now GT5) pump to GTExtras, you get a lovely pump that does not updates blocks and does not cause a mess.

Wrong math ken. RTG makes up to 64 HU/t.

I really do like some ores only being found on certain celestial bodies. Makes space traveling worthwhile.
Also spaaaaaaaaaaaaaaace. I still have to set up a space station with artificial gravity (starminer).
There should be an alien village on the moon, for more quests! (still optional)

I like RWG more, but last time we tried to use (~an year ago when k2 started?) it crashed hopelessly with the mods we had.
So if possible I really do want to play with RWG, UB and GT worldgens.

In a zip. I've got it all, and I'm pretty sure SpwnX does too, but all the images would have to be added to the page, as well as reconstructing them in a way that works wiki syntax wise.
Sure I do, its also here for anyone that wants it btw: GregTech CommunityWiki is closing, moved to FTB wiki

I'd like to see BC, obviously nerfed to the point its transport item pipes become "obsolete" if compared to GT's (theres a big difference between them, but BC's is much cheaper for what it does). Fluid pipes can be effectively disabled with no harm to gameplay. Energy transport pipes will help us alot with forestry stuff.

Btw arch, you should consider creating a new thread for the server.

Nope not really. With 512 Solar pannels you used Tincables they had the same powerloss as the exensive diamond cable. And if you made it right you were able to place 512 solar pannels withoit any powerloss...
Yeah, but what i meant is that 512 solar panels uses alot more of resources. Mainly time, space and logic.

However there is a "small" difference between wiring 512 individual generators and a single one... RF-wise it does not matter much except for space, now for IC2 it did matter more (on IC2 classic) because of power loss on transmission of low voltages.

Usual common sense of forums.
There is no punishment, but avoid doing so if not necessary. -
y u necropost buddy.
