Allow your tools to have special effects when enchanted :
Efficiency I-V, reduce damage taken by 10-50% when doing stuff
Unbreaking I/II/III, 10-20-30% of not using durability when used.
Repair I/II, repair the tool just like TC3 does with other stuff.
SilkTouch I, do not use durability when rotating. [Wrenches, rubber hammer and screwdriver] -

-1 for necroposting
.
Also this is definetely not going to be implemented.

I know, but electric sorters just seem rather expensive and excessive for such a simple task...
Maybe I'm remembering the recipe wrong, though.
GregTech automation itself is expensive.
Also, you can even use vanilla hoppers for that.Insert items here

The conflict with the addon GregTech.
GregTech-Addon forbids craft compressor, extractor and macerator.
Replaces its automatic versions:macerator => automatic macerator
compressor => automatic compressor
extractor => automatic extractorPlease make a version of Advanced Machines does not conflict with the addon GregTech.
Thank you!P.S. Sorry for my English.
Hello there, now, time for... anyway :
GregTech doesn't forbids IC² machines, it makes their recipe output GT automatic ones instead.
You can turn GT automatic machines into normal IC² ones by just placing them on crafting table as addons may use them.
You are supposed to be allowed to use automatic machines on recipes that requires normal IC² machines, although that is forge dictionary dependant, which may or may not be implemented by whatever mod requires them. -
Basically, I'd like a line of buffers which will first check at least one (preferably more) adjacent inventory, and insert into it until full. Once the inventory is full, it will then move on to the next buffer, and continue down the line until the end.
I'll probably end up just using Extra Utils transfer nodes...
You can do that with electric sorters.
Set them to output stuff to the BLUE side, and if it cant output stuff to the blue side (aka inventory full) it will output them to the RED side (going to the next sorter), which can repeat the process all over again. -
This is an amazing idea, and maybe this same machine could be used to modify IC2 crops?
Also, GREG WHERE'S MY INSERTION BUFFER?!
All i need is that one little thing, and your automation would be perfect...Unless there's something which I missed?
What do you need to do? You may have missed something.

So I have a idea for 1.6.
1.6 adds a UHC gamerule to make health not regen. I was wondering if you could make a multi block machine that converts energy into health when you stand in the middle of it, or a tank of special liquid you go into (kinda like in star wars). If the special liquid is used it could be portable with a injector or something.
Basically, a machine that gives players Regeneration effect upon being close/in it.
How about a machine that allows steve to genetically enhance himself?
Increasing his regeneration, speed, jump height, mining speed...
Reducing damage taken, fall damage and such.
But to do that, steve has to manually alter his genetic code in the GUI. [Then apply it at his own risk]
Bad modifications on the genetic code may result on death.
Genetic modifications lasts for one "life" (till death). -
Age you live, age you learn... didnt knew this recipe, feeling myself little dumb)))) Thanx for help))))
Another thing is that you can use wheat seeds if you want to fertilize IC² crops.

Any kind of weapons are denied until the developers decide to make the probably-never-going-to-come industrial conflict expansion.
Not that you can't suggest weapons to addon developers, or make your own.

You can automate watermills (insert water buckets in the bottom slot) with GregTech Advanced Buffers/Regulators and translocators (remove the empty bucket from the bottom slot), but it is definetely not worth it.
-
We are talking about pure IC2, without Greg Tech.
I'm talking about both.
28M / 166k = 168 UUM. (IC²)28M /16.6M = 1,68 UUM (GT) [Not considering grinder extra output, 2 thorium and 1/2 plutonium]
-
The most efficient reactor can produce 28 millions EU from 4 uranium ingots. The craft of 2x uranium ore (4 ingots) may be: 2 diamond blocks + 1 diamond + 1 matter. To get this just from energy you need more than 28 millions of EU, if we try to not think about other reactor components.
2 Uranium ore = 28M EU = 168 UUM if amplifier is available.
Its recipe should be more than 168 UUM (for vanilla IC²)for default GT 8 UUM is enough (even considering thorium/plutonium)
-
Adding 2 crafts for that ? I prefer the Ura not being UUM-able, to prevent Nuke spam.
Seriously, what bu nuke would you do with Uranium from UUM ???
Storing potential energy (with a considerable loss) , making nukes, making stuff that requires UUM. [Two examples : ASP and xtrabees]
-
He told of it in the OP but ... basically, one can't make a UUM recipie not allowing energy loop with Uranium because of scraps and max UU in the crafting grid = 9 (= 1 500 000 EU, already taken by diamonds btw)
One could make uranium require UUM blocks...
