May I ask why there are two input slots on the Rotary Macerator but it only macerates one ore type and then leaves the other ore type in the secondary slot? Is this supposed to happen am I doing something wrong?
Other than that GREAT mod. Wouldn't survive without it. Otherwise I need to overclock my machines like 50 times.....
Second slot : Additive macerating.
One example : Insert one coal/charcoal in the second slot then 64 iron ore, get 128 refined iron dust which when smelted gives refined iron.
There are other recipes, but i can't remember.
Place 16 overclockers on your macerator and it will be faster than anything, processing one item every tick (1/20 second), at a 5x cost per item processed. [4000+ EU/t line needed to maintain]
2) Multiply heat and output by number of cells - hurge load of fun, 64 4x cells will burn reactor in few seconds.

Now when you say integration with Buildcraft and IC2 it will accept both wires/pipes and power from both of these mods?
Mekanism accepts IC² energy, so i believe it also accepts BC power (MJ) from pipes/redstone conduct.
it possible, ever with tags, just check RP2 batboxes...

Those ores should not be that common as platinum/osmium currently are, with config to disable generation [as there are some mods that does generate them].

And we (at least I ^^) definitely need to generate alcohol with BoozeCeption system to burn it
(I mean, in an efficient way, it wouldn't worth wasting tin + time for something that woul'nt generate more than 5000 EU)
I'd rather have sugar cane + fermentation and distillery = alcohol (fuel) -> generator.
Tough i still think beer needs to be buffed. Speed for 10 seconds is just... useless.

Also, maybe there could be a new tier of IC machines? Like a quantum furnace and macerator that smelts/macerates instantly?
I can agree with you that quantumsuit is easily achievable without GregTech, but i doubt devs will change it.
Tier IV tech for machines is denied (at least on IC²) , if you want machines that does stuff instantly, place 16/13/10 overclockers on them (macerator-extractor-compressor/electric furnace/recycler) and pay about 5x more EU per operation.
Technically, the code is not very IC2. Also, there will always be IC2 compatibility for MFFS, however it might not be as good as the UE compatibility since I know my own API and system better than a foreign one.
MFFS also have a IC² only similar addon , Advanced Repulsion Systems by immibis, so if you don't think MFFS now is not good enough for you...
Anyway, i believe MFFS will always have both UE and IC² compatibilty.
In my opinion i don't like much how forcefields "defend" your base, as it can be easily passable with some ICBM stuff or how OP it can be as you can't get in the field without being killed by defense station.
