Sleeping would greatly reduce the toxicity levels, but give you a bad effect, the hangover (10s nausea every 1 min for 20 minutes, random damage once every awhile for the same time, just to tick the damage animation).
Drinking mineral water would fasten fhe toxicity decrease.

Currently, brews give off effects of so little time that it is not worth making them.
I suggest a x10 on timer of good effects (and leave bad effects as is).

And to avoid abuse of them:
Add a value to those drinks, indicating how much toxicity they have {aka alcohol or other fancy stuff}.
If player's toxicity level increases too much, bad effects happens until it lowers down.

I don't mind help requests, as long they're done in a proper manner.

That used to be like that... until Thunderdark changed the pump, "breaking" the pumping algorithm. (It still works, but it is very wonky for large region - see nether).
