Hello,
Trying this out on my server to help speed things up, trying to reduce the number of "has time changed?" messages.
Still in the middle of gauging how well it works, so far it appears to be reducing them.
One thing I have noticed on the client use of it, I am getting a little graphical issues that are a bit noticeable.
Close things look fine, but at a distance I start to see the outlines and pixels at the corners of tiles. Very noticeable against water, sandstone, or something that is a plain color. It happens on standard view and with shaders turned on.

I'm getting this crash when i start with this mod installed
http://pastebin.com/1cEvKyvy
and a openeye report: http://openeye.openmods.info/c…4424b03f5771061af02dd4ea6 -

Something else I noticed about the graphic issues,
it gets less noticeable with AA turned on in the client, at around an Anisotropic Filtering of 4, it pretty much disappears altogether. But at 2 its still somewhat visible in the distance, and Zero you get quite a bit of it.
You can see it plainly over the water and on the sand. here: https://imgur.com/Yk4rg10
It looks like gaps in the texture tiles let either background or random pixels through, and it just multiplies the further you go out.

Removing Smart Moving and Player API did not fix it. Here is the Crash reports without them

http://openeye.openmods.info/c…4424b03f5771061af02dd4ea6As with the other errors I have encounter this looks like a shader mod problem, make sure there isn't any shader mods and try again (Error logs don't show if a shader mods is installed in the list)

Thank you!
This is working well for my server and my client.
Keep up the great work!

Well, Id just like to say, this mod... Honestly, Needs to be in forge itself... This mod, Single handledly, Made 1.7.10 SOO Much better, I barely got good enough words on how well this improved my client... I gained approx 35-70 FPS alone, Game studders, random freezes, gone, However, Only con of this FPS boost is i have to wait about 2 minutes while ingame until it actually kicks in, not sure why, but anyways, it really works, and works well.
10/10, Would be nice if we could ship this in packs tho, so everyone can have this wonderful blessing.

It was the shaders mod that prevented me from starting the game. But now i crashes after a while while playing.

OpenEye http://openeye.openmods.info/c…bf5aed962a417f2fbbed195c4--EDIT--
somehow it seams that is was optifine that started derping things upp -
Fastcraft 1.9 or Quadrum 1.2.0.B13 crashes at startup when both mods are in the mod-folder. (Forge 10.13.1.1224)
Crash-report:
http://pastebin.com/ehtJUYSbThis will also be posted over at the Quadrum github.

I'll add a config setting to control the duplication and probably some heuristics for the default behavior, it's obviously better to optimize for memory with very little GPU RAM or very high resolution textures.
Hi Player did this config setting ever happen been trying to use this with Soartex Fanver's resource pack but it drops my frame rate to 1fps and the game becomes unplayable tho its runs very well with the default textures
Thanks for all the hard work you put into Fastcraft without this 1.7.10 is nearly unplayable
-
Yeah, giving me some improvements as well. Does this do something similar to optifines smooth/multicore chunkloading? I noticed that even on a decent CPU and GPU Minecraft tends to have lagspikes whenever chunks are loaded making playing in larger bases really really laggy. optifine fixes that a bit more, but I tend to use fastcraft since this is far more compatible with most mods than optifine is.

Link is working fine for me. Your complaint is invalid.
There IS a problem with people connecting to the download, if you don't see it good for you but don't belittle other people's problems.
I too had a problem downloading the link. I managed to downloading it by using a proxy. Try using a proxy/vpn to download it. Maybe some ISP's are causing issues or rejecting the connection.
Edit: fix grammar

I don't mind help requests, as long they're done in a proper manner.
If you can't download the mod via player's link, try downloading it from the attachment of this post.

Hello,
This does not seem to be working with Direwolf20 1.7.10 1.0.0 and Cauldron http://pastebin.com/A7fhqXp0

There is a function called search. Use it. Fastcraft is not compatible with Cauldron.
