Might be a little trickier, but I presume the thresholds would be percentages, since different vents and coolant cells have different capacities for heat. Should I limit the percentages based on AE2 fuzzy card abilities, or is there some other mod that's better at using a range of damage values for determining when to remove the components?
There probably are other options and they are likely similar to AE2's, but the only one in my mind was AE2 fuzzy automation indeed.
"Per cycle"? I asked this before, but I don't think I got an answer: How does one define the cycle length for a mixed-fuel reactor?
Consider the fuel with the longest cycle (MOX < Uranium < Thorium)
I think you underestimate the difficulty of that. Two component types are impractical to predict without simulating the reactor: 1. heat exchangers 2. MOX fuel (especially in a fluid reactor)

Long time no see. How are the servers going? Still down? Otherwise active? Invultri, Nono, Linus, BadAlchemy all gone? Are the whitelists inherited and mostly unpurged from the older servers?
Servers going fine so far. Invultri n company are not playing but invultri at least can be found on IRC. Nonoriri seems to be on IRC too although I dont see him? speaking.

1V (redalloy cable) -> MV (annealed copper cable) -> HV (silver cable) -> EV (aluminium cable) -> IV (superconductor cable)
You can use different levels of transformation here, but with this one (after some math) I get a loss of ~3% of the production after all uptransformation to IV.

You dont need to use ULV transformers to step up. You can do direct 1V -> LV or any other voltage you desire.

Those are steam explosions.
You need to either put another steam turbine (if you are using superheated steam) after it (and a condensator after said turbine) or just a condensator if you're using plain steam. -

The absorber may be more appropriate.The converter actually consumes items like a furnace when it generates power. The absorber draws power from the environment and enchanted items, without destroying them.
(Tested all this last night prior to release)
Could be, but the absorber already drains energized nodes so I thought of using the converter for that. Well, the absorber is also good for that.
I was also thinking of another machine. It would be a GT-TC exclusive. The Primal Generator. It has the ability to generate power from TC primal charms, known for producing vis randomly.
Each primal charm inserted on the primal generator would increase the production by 0.5 EU/t -

Well, why not copy the nano saber, modify its texture to be white-ish, replace all the plates used in the recipe with reinforced iridium ones (also replace crystal with lapotron) then add one little zero on all the values? (+200 atk dmg and 3M energy storage)
Sounds like an easy task.
