So you are saying that once you scan something, you can't scan it again, regardless? Hmm, yeah, that may be a bug.

Have anyone played with the /effect command on single player yet?
Try /effect playername 1 99999 255 on a superflat world.
and /effect playername 21 99999 255
and /effect playername 22 99999 255
and /effect playername 10 99999 255Is there a way to implement special armor abilities using those?, for example the effect 21 (health boost) when using nano/quantum suit AND removing invulnerability, but keeping 85-95% of damage reduction.

I agree on that aswell. It would be much more friendly to the user (positive physiological effect) seeing numbers going up 1 by 1, instead of a looooooong wait 1000.

Also that might cause bugs with automation that force items into certain slots (aka GT buffer/regulator), I would have to test to be sure though.

For those of you who don't know, on the 2nd of March, it will be 250 days since we heard from The All Mighty Dragon Load Alblaka. To celebrate/mourn the occasion, I propose deciding what could of happened to the original creator of IC2, and IC1 for that matter. What do you guys think about the idea and/or what happened to him?
What could have happened:
He could have gaven up on Minecraft or could have died (i hope he didnt, but thats a possibility after all).What we should do:
Move out IC² from experimental after finish all major reworks, turning it into IndustrialCraft³.
Player would be the new leader, GregoriusT the co-leader, Thunderdark and RichardG (are they still active?) as coders, SirusKing as sprite artist, Imer as IC³ hoster and me as forum moderator (with a proper icon, pleeeease imer?).GregTech would turn into a module of Industrialcraft, called "Intergalactical Industry".

There is only one your problem with those reactors, they exchange heat with the core, thus it will cool down reactor hulls (when out of fuel) and that is not good for MOX cycles...

There are no more 2x or 4x insulated cables and all addons that uses them should have swap for the new method (only one insulation), if not, it is their problem.

Check the config if "steam" reactors are enabled. When enabled your reactor generates steam instead, thus wires does not connect.

Although with the advantage that the laser can go for miles.
I'd use it, given it would be a way to remote-power stuff from your base.

Still, if you run it 24/7 (servers) it will become cheaper, eventually, thats just an option anyways that i'd like people to have.
Also, iridium is more plentiful on GregTech, with the rare iridium ore and other minor sources.
Another thing is that reflectors on GregTech (thick ones i think), if i recall correctly, requires berylium and that thing is not easy to obtain in quantities.
