    so with the design
    http://www.talonfiremage.pwp.b…88ujakr199k7lxppmsrqj9fy8

    I am seeing 800-900 ( varies randomly) HU/t .. and makes about 430 EU/t ( 9 stierling generators)

I am hoping someone here has knowlage how to use this stable reactor to make more then 430 eu/t and is willing to SHOW how its hooked up ( using default IC2 no extra mods) to produce steam and make use of the full energy! ( i am dumb when trying to figure things out and don't understand how to get it setup right)

i have to sya the bedrock DESTORYER is scary to me.. i would advice it be changed to not destroy bedrock but to soak the voids energies ( placed on bedrock.. the more around the better) and should require a decent energy source

diamond recipie imho is too overpowered.

Cable changer.. also very very powerfull and unbalanced to just click and change with energy?

mass cleaner.. feels overpowered as well.. ... also might not make safe spots with lava..

and the lava water changer for sure is overpowered. imho if you want a lava source have a machine to superheat a large ammount of stone ( cheaper mats but more energy) .. or a obsidian block ( less energy)

I love the idea of a home teleporter but how much energy does it contain? is it overpowered ? maybe..

I like the food replicator idea.. but energy is alot.. scrap should feed it and should any plant material... also does it make 1 steak? or a stack? ( still major energy usage when having a cow is cheaper )

I will say i love that you did your icons decently.. well done there and could be a good mod :)

Rubber Sheet: I agree with you.

RTG cart: Why not just hook up a CESU cart to the locomotive?...

i like the idea of the RTG.. would be interesting:) making things cheaper but how would you control/stop the train?

and rubber sheets yes!!! and it needs to be able to sit better.. having two blocks to the side makes it weird Ie you shoudl be able to have it flush with the floor like a trampoline play place has... ( still requires space under)

wikipedia is not about a game directly..

IMHO if you have nothing nice to say you should say nothing at all..

IMHO you are being a cancer to this forum and a troll... and i don't suffer those and have added you to my ignore list so that i see a big yellow triangle for your posts and don't need to stress..

I advise everyone else to do the same, shun the troll!

I've been around for 3 years here, since IC1, i really don't recall you as a person that helped.

Also, hayo on wiki is a separate section for fun, which does not interfere with anything.

and it does not matter how long you have been here.. he is acting like a jerk.. HAYO is as far as i can see the fun "alt text" like XKCD does on his drawings..

if you have a problem with HAYO you have more issues then you claim and should seek help to work through your difficulties

Not only future cable losses, but aswell saving in energy network complexity (as in wiring 512 solars is much harder than one single panel that does the same).

Also, Advanced Solar Panels and Compact Solars have two different play routes. The Adv Solar Panels focuses on panels that are expensive by using rare, hard to acquire, energy intensive materials while Compact Solars are expensive by using great amounts of cheap materials.

yep bpth have a balance to it.. one req a long set to make and costly the other requires knowing how ot put a factory together

I don't consider it simple research, especially since the newest features of IC² are either badly or non documented. I myself did not know that "simple" rate of heat and coolant.
There is no good repository of those informations (see the official wiki or even the FTB one). Instead of complaining about "spoonfeeding", what about helping the community?

    exactly! asking allows documentation

and re uranium are you mining directly or using a miner?

true :) for me i don't understand enough.. seeing a setup and not knowing the settings does not help.. but seeing a guide i can build upon .. :( giving me basics i can build better

I don't know enough to see how it works :( sadly i would i think need a video walktrhough :/ thanks though :)

My reactor has a single quad uranium fuel rod surrounded by neutron reflectors and puts out 400 heat ( with some extra buildup so have to cycle it ). Two faces each have dual heat exchangers feeding a boiler making super heated steam, driving two chained steam generators ( per boiler ) producing a total of 300 eu ( 100 from first turbine on super heated steam, plus 50 from the second using the remaining regular steam ) from the 400 heat, which is 50% better than stirlings.

I suppose if you are only using regular steam with a single turbine then you would only be as good as a stirling, so perhaps steam could use a little buffing.

    maybe :)

My page 1 reactor is out of date in some ways. Numbers in guis and possibly heat > EU values have changed. Also, there was no pressure system (at least not apparently) in the steam gen.

PLEASE if you can let us see your current setup.. because i would love to get more then 200 eu/t ( very silly because i can't figure out these things)

I guess Nuclear Control or some other way of measuring the temperature of the reactor and shutting it off automatically would be the only way... but even that's not without a great deal of risk. You're probably better off using traditional steam-free reactors with MOX. Assuming, of course, that those still work.

i presume with MOX you need ALOT more outputs then before.. you need a stable or semi stable input/output situation ...

personally for me any plutonium will go towards RTG reactors which are more stable imho and with a normal reactor creating them.. will cause the RTG's to output more as i build more. but can put them more dense then say solar!

personally if you can find a stable setup that does not need the nuclear control addon for every 100 hu/t you get 50 eu/t from a sterling generator

I would love to have someone show how the steam turbine setup can be used to make more then that.. since for 400 hu/t i was only getting 200 eu/t and it was more complicted then then sterling generator

could you show pictures of your reactor and your setup of outside the reactor?

Stirlings certainly are simpler, but get you less eu / heat.

hmmm not from what i can see... i don't know how you guys are hooking things up and running your machines.. so i can't see for example the 400 HU/t reactor from page 1 doing more then 100 EU/t ( 50 per side)

I know i am missing ALOT of some setup here to get what your showing.. but ... the 10 fuel rod design is very stable from what i can tell @ 400 HU/t and makes a good 200 EU/t which is good to make RTG pelets for long term power options

I do like that the heat vents repair over time when the reactor shuts off... I had feared they are consumed and become waste.. am i wrong on this?
