Hey, I talked about things with Blood Asp and showed him your textures, he thinks your textures could be used as the default GT textures for the new circuitry.
Sounds good. I dont know what Zerrens thinks about this though. After all, my textures are mostly based on his. I suggest you ask his premission.

I've been making some some textures to compliment Zederrian Technology texture pack. Point was to provide better visual clue for circut tier, origin and purpose, as well as make it look better and more intresting.
It is not yet complite. Still i want to know, what you're guys think.

Could we expect update, covering new GregTech 5U experimental items such as circuts of high tier parts?
I made textures for some of the new circuts. Some of them animated. I figured, what it would be helpful, if circuts of the same tier looked simmilar. This way it would be easier to figure out in which recipire it gonna be used.
Is there a config to shout down maintenance?
Remind me how to turn off machine explosions on overcharging? I dont think this punishment is fair since i would not do this on purpose EVER. I dont want to rebuild my entire production line because my attention slipped for a second or because i misclicked. I was making a ITNT production line and i put LV Machine hull to configure conduit to output nitric mixture for my HV Chemical reactor. I didnt want other fluids to come in. And before i could say "oh s...", entire line blew up and machines vaporated, taking a couple of barrels of oil byproducts with them. This isn't fun at all and things like this may cause player to quit.
Gregtech fluid regulator covers. How to use them? I tried to hook up them at both powered machines and pipes. Tried both negative and positive speed. Tried to put machine controller. Tried to connect pipes through regulator. Pipes arent connecting to each other through regulator like they would do with pump cover. They dont prevent fluid to go through them it seems. And they are not draining liquids from adjacent tanks.
How does one replaces GregTech recipe? I was trying to make a script to bypass overclocking by upping the tier of recipes, starting with deuterium production. But it seems to work only with molten cheese(and every other liquid with no centrifuge recipe). As I've get it, two recipes for same liquid can not coexist. So i tried to remove entry "I:hydrogen_160". It returned. I tried to set it to zero. It removed the recipie from nei, but I assume it still there, gloating at me.

This textures are just beautifuly designed. Cant play GregTech without them anymore. Greg should consider making them default.
Did anyone checked fluid regulators? I tried to plug LV one on the pipe and configure it, but it doesn't seems to transfer any fluids. I tried to plug them to electric machine and got same result. Pipes are even refusing to connect to it
About Magic energy converter. Neutronium plate isn't exactly "prefusion"
IC2 fluid regulator is very helpful though
Another complaint: Why turbines demanding precise input if GT pipes can't even sustain stable flow every tick? I suppose new regulator made for that paticular purpose, isn't it? But isn't it making this mechanics complitely unnsessesary?
I can't quite figure out how large turbine works. Gas turbine for example.Will it consume all gas in the input hatch every second or just optimal flow value?
There isn't any obligation to upgrade a machine to a higher tier other than if a specific recipe requires one.
You see a "higher end" machine follows the GT philosophy of "2x Speed; 4x Power Usage". So most of the time, you're better off making more lower end machines. you can get an extra 50-100k eu/t from the best plasma in the MK3 fusion reactor by using all LV machines to do your processing.
Upgrade what you need. IMO, GT is more of a mod about balancing efficiency with your infrastructure. Don't feel like you need to upgrade them.
That is the problem. There is a tonn of high tier machines what leaved untouched because of this "philosophy". You arent getting the satisfaction by making high tier machine because it is nearly useless or it's application so narrow, what you feel like being fooled.
I've been playing with this mod and mods in general for a long time and I don't think any power source can out live it's use unless something else is objectively better in every possible way.
MFR Tree Farm > Pyrolyse Oven > Boiler > Turbines is a fantastic power source throughout the entire game. If you aren't making enough EU... then build more tree farms!
I know, i know. But i also know about plans of nerfing fossil fuel by polution and idea of discouraging players from using coal as main power source and making power sources tier related.
I know, this is an issue quite a while in GregTech, but have anybody done anything with machine tier penalty? The fact what i have to sacrifice majority of my fuel i put time and effort to harvest and refine to use high tech machines is driving me crazy. And every time when i am thinking about using HV machine i am remember what 4 LV will handle it as fast and they won't suck my batteries dry.
It is realy sad what almost every problem in gregtech balance is resolved by nerfing everything. And why is there have to be heavy tiering in the power sources? Why is it have to be encouraged to change your powersource if you for example would like to imagine running large coal power plant?
"No! Coal is for the LV stage! Use oil. Its better!"
"Still using your diesel generator of yours? I affraid it is no longer viable. Go build reactor now!"
Everytime i ask people on servers and they are talking about "the thing" as only viable solution.
I'm sorry. I had to speak out. I just struggling because one part of mod is so inspiring then the other part is so frustrating.

Blood Asp, since we got oil production covered, do you have plans to include vehicles to the mod? It would be preaty exiting to mine coal with excavator or level down forests with bulldozers. And preaty rewarding to. Although it would be quite difficult to pull out, since you got to make mod playable in multiplayer, but this would be a nice feature what would stand apart from standart routine like "thing to fly, thing to make a huge hole, some pipes and processing machines'
I am placed 16 electrolisers and only 10 of them working. Is it supposed to be like this?
That's pretty healthy. What's more is if you make a proper system with EU and plasma buffers you can turn off the reactor and fuel for long periods of time and burst the full 44 kEU/t (even more if you make a second turbine).
With "wait for long period of time" policy i might as well wait until solars will produce as much EU
The only issue with the mass fabs is that there is no PA support for it and no reasonable overclocking in 5.08.
And it was allways buggin me, how come with progress in technology machines become less efficent? Like WAY less efficent. Like "12.5% of old scrapy machine" efficency. There is a differcence between hardcore and cruelness. It makes hightech machines worthless. Of high tech versions you gonna make 3 or 4 machines tops and run them only on big holydays.
I dont know. I enjoy realy GregTech complex techtree, but mechanics seems very unbalanced, rich of pointless frustration and overall dickness.
