I've never modded, perhaps ic2 initializes before redpower, hence the items of RP aren't loaded yet. Name your ic2 mod "zzzzzic2" and try this. If it works, you better believe in Gods.

I also grow ferru and Aurelia without a crop-matron, although right now the server has an issue where we can't place crop sticks on tilled dirt. Idk how or why it happened, I hope this gets fixed.

The Moor biome has worked out for me. I now have 2 fields of high stats pumpkins and 2 of high stats reeds, I'm powering 10 diesel generators from immersive engineering with this setup.
I have about 45k pumpkins o/ -

You could just setup this high in the sky, probably by bumping the height limit to 1024.

They are supposedly immune to weeds too.
Oh. I thought you would have to use weed ex on them if you didn't pay attention since the nearby cropstick gets turned into weed, or that every time you get a crop you have to quickly destroy the too high stat one.

No, Nemo found you!
Damn plot twists

So far I've managed to get a 14 30 crop so that answers my question
Seems like Moor is a swamp like biome, so that's a gg for me -
I have a question :
Let's say I already have a crop-matron providing fertilizer and water, I'm in a Moor biomes at Y: 160
The Moor biome has atemperature of Normal 50% and Damp 100%, whereas swamps have a temperature of Normal 80% and Damp 90%.
Am I going to be able to breed high stat crops and keep them alive?
Iirc the best Y level is 128, but the ground level is around Y 130 and mountains are everywhere so I had to build above ground. -
You can turn the Eerie back into swamp with the ethereal bloom.
Eerie is one of the worse biome to put crops in, whereas magical forests act like swamp if I recall correctly -

I've found Nemo. -
Please Hadrius, you've had enough Internet, you should create a skyblog where you'd fit perfectly.

Well if you love those crappy minecart chests which tend to despawn after a certain amount of time, you can probably rely on them.
You could fill cans and batteries at Point A, discharge them at Point B, than go to Point C to grab the ores from a miner and get back to the beginning. Really frustrating to setup without railcraft and impossible to maintain because of chunk loading -
Well, once you have 1k of each metal you can afford some fluid distributors or whatever they're called, and put a fluid ejector upgrade into them

Well TC adds so much stuff it is almost a game extension on it's own (just like GregTech, but in a different manner).
Having the possibility to walk / run faster without having to drink speed potions is really appreciated, and for some reasons the qsuit doesn't yet allow uphill assist.
I remember when I saw the players for the first time, except for Bloody, everybody was using the thaumostatic harness over the complete qsuit. Everybody had the TC gear and had a TC setup early game, or asap should I precise since spending 1 day according to the statistics still feels like early game for me.
Basically, I really only find awesome the runic stuff, although not necessary, the ability of the shovel of the earth mover to place 9 blocks of the same type at a time akin the builder's wand but worse (I really miss it playing on kirara), the ability to track ores with PFAA's worldgen, how one flies with the thaumostatic harness and the primal crusher. The first time I ever used TC transmutation was with my high stat coppon farm on kirara 4, but it was only because of no extractor. -
Seeing how far people got on KH3 and how poor I am on this server (also note I didn't enjoy the trip that much because of low performances), I'll give KH4 a try. This should be another brand new map with fixed Oregen, right?
I have 15 days to play, from which you can subtract up to 8 days since I'll spend some times IRL other than playing. So not today and not until a long while. That means I'll be playing when GT6 will be finished, since my next long holidays will start on may-june 2016 (although I'll consider working to get money, so really only July to September)
Arch what about wiping off TC in preference for Botania? Just decrease drastically the flower gen, make mana steel requires steel, dragon stone requires diamond + endstone, elementium would be titanium thrown into the portal (+ maybe one mana steel ingot, so 1 ti + 1 maSt = 1 Elium), and probably make the flower cost a bit more pricy (like the ore generating flower, this one while hard to get required me 1 day to get in SSP, from putting down my first white flower thingy magicky turning stone and wood into living things to kekimurus production). Botania isn't heavy on world gen at all and I suppose most of the people will like this. But really, it's just a toy, don't see this mod as a wide depth game play such as what TC used to offer.
If my computer (or my new one, idk the future) can't handle KH4, I would be glad playing with GT5Ex and botania :p -
Very unpleasant to read. And I'm not saying this because for all the mistakes and grammatical errors

Alright alright alright.
Kirara 2.0 : At first, biomass production to turn it into biogas. That was producing 128eu/t. I also had backup fuel with 6 diesel generators for my first blast furnace smelts. Than, I've found many Plutonium veins, I turned my rubber tree farm (from forestry) into an iron farm (I was centrifuging the rubber to get plastic, which has metalum). Lastly, I spammed enough radioisotope generators to produce 2048eu/t.
Than, on Kirara extended, formerly Kirara 3.0, 48 coke ovens, with a TC tree farm powered by golem. The creosote was being fed into one or two boilers, and I planned on turning the charcoal into alumentum. I'm still waiting for the cobble generator from GT.
I was powering a RC turbine to produce 200eu/t, and I ended up with some radioisotope generators (I setup an iron golem farm asap so I had iron for days).
And now, direwolf20's pack, I started with big reactor to power a turbine producing 28k rf/t ad my starter power source, I'm powering a laser drill, meanwhile I setup a cake farm to feed 24 kekimurus and I setup an alumentum farm to feed 27 endoflame. I'll fire a lot of RC boilers once I get around adding more alchemical constructs to produce alumentum insanely fast. Once again, these RC boilers will power up a huge turbine.
My plan for the future is the new ic2 reactor. Maybe a dozen of them. Or a hundred. And also powering my base with the botania flower eating wool (it eats white wool, than the other wool of the colour of the next spectrum and so on until it returns to white) feeding the mana producing thingy from botania. Too bad there's not the TC add-on to produce rf out of vis, because I have a 14CV/t node (hungry node I fed, than turned into a tainted node, and lastly energized).
On all my previous modpacks I've played, may it be ftb unleashed or tekkit, I always managed to produce lava (pump from the nether for example). Oh and I once setup a squid reactor, feeding ink sacs harvested by one rancher into boifuel generators from MFR and powering RC boilers out of it. It no longer works.
