Since I would start up with a limited stacksize and it won't be changed in the meantime, I vote for the stacksizes of pathfinder. 16 for blocks, 32 for items/ingots, but 9 for meta blocks. +1 for penalties when bearing too much weight or walking on some blocks. One will need to be over prepared to raid a dungeon.

I think we should add dirt to diamond. I can't see why some people haven't thought of putting it in kirara hardcore. Best mod out here. It's gr8 m8 8/8 r8.
-
And we have Redstone less redstone circuits with p2p and wireless with quantum bridges
-
I would be glad to see gravisuit on kirara hard-core, but not at the price of mps. They work great together btw.
We have wireless Redstone with rc, no need for the mod adding wireless Redstone. -
I do get that PFAA was sparse on ores for GT's needs, but I thought you can tweak the rates of deposits and their densities, so that could be solved easily enough. Whatever you think will be good for gameplay and server performance will do I think, but if these werent exclusive to 'realistic' oregen, then I vote for that. What is your mod anyway?
"you can tweak the rates of deposits"
NOPE, you're the one doing the work in the first place and then you'll be heard. Our admin has too much work to do and PFAA isn't planned, coming up with a redundant mod saying you miss it isn't going to cut it. Also it'll break the idea of splitting the oregen between the different dimensions. -
Obsolete because of the fact 60% of the ores are only there to be electrolyzed into oxygen and things like that.
I once tried k2 to make crops on a small island far from anybody else, I ended up using molybdenum pickaxes because this thing generates in ridiculous amount
Not as ridiculous as iron though.
And variety is a good thing as you said, people build out of marble, granite and chalk all the time. The only building using something else is airam's base -
Geologica adds so many obsolete things, without counting the ores giving silicon and aluminium when electrolyzed

No to TFC. I think making sure everything works fine with it will take more work than making tc balanced, which is already a no for Arch. Also last time I played it I had around 2 fps because of all the fucking tick updates, block updates and mob api pathfinding to me (seriously I went from 2 fps to -1 when I was chased by some zombies).
-
Okay than. I would have found pretty funny to have you guys discussing about a bug that is in the mod without bothering taking 10 seconds to report it :p
-
Are there already reports of this bug?
-
Aren't we able to charge it in the ae2 charger?
-
Item magnet : GTextras
Boots of the traveller : basic gt extras armor with pistons and a few speed potions or a beacon
Shovel of the earth mover : one spade found in a rogue like dungeon
Repair enchant : electric tools with the mps charging up tools while running -
NOPE on TC. It's no longer supported and if we get some mod incompatibilities we're fucked.

This weekend I'll store my base in a cell than. I'll first discount every gt machine since they transform into blocks named ".name" when stored so it might take me something like an hour. And I'll likely need to craft a lot of pylons but I'll also put my inventory inside the base, since I want to start from scratch and hold to this cell until I finally reach the point I can spawn the old base (I'm speaking of the vintage server, not the hard-core one). The only thing I'll need is an ender chest to store the base in until I reach that point
Arch you can upload it to Dropbox, I'm pretty sure I gave you the modpack once thanks to this site because you didn't want to download it, all you need is an account -
Arch sorry for the confusion if you're speaking about me
What I wanted to say was that while some mods will only be available on late game, I didn't get out of sight that the game play itself will bring up so many things to do.
No to tc, it's clear to me as I hate many things from it (might be because of the way azanor replied to a bug report). I love many things on the other side but by itself I don't see many uses on a gt focused server either...
So, basically I'm not saying I'll not have much to do. Oh boy I will and I plan on maybe leaving k4 when this server is up (after making sure my stuff will be secured if I ever happen to want to play again). I have already so many things to do on a vanilla world, I just can't say there's not much to do
About forestry, I rarely use up to 4 backpacks at a time so we need to think about what we should do now. My NOPE is still here btw :p -
Raid a dungeon, go to the twilight forest, make some logistics pipes, railcraft the world, opencomputers, modular powersuits.Sounds like we have plenty to tinker with
Raid a dungeon = raid the few first, if not the first floor of the dungeons because of how they're hard
Go to the Twilight forest = raid an ocean floor to find a diamond, strongly unadviced with the mod adding the oxygen thingy and such, or spend 5 in game days to find a gt vein if you're unlucky (on k3 I literally dug down at my base to find some diamonds, on k4 I found one after 5 ig days)
Logistic pipes = power needed, ressources hungry and is late game
Rail craft = SO MUCH F* IRON NEEDED (I'll make 4 irons farms at my base this time, 1 isn't enough)
oc = mod I don't know anything about at all and with which I'll have great fun playing with it the early game
MPS = The MPS parts should require the gtextras higher tiers armour (I'm thinking of the modular nanosuit) in order to craft the modular armour itself (kinda like upgrading your nanosuit to qsuit) so not early gameThankfully I love exploring, mining and farming, but some people will find the beginning to be the boredom. At the beginning we should still be able to use infinitubes and such to get something going, but I think there's an option to make them use energy.
BTW, the rogue like dungeons come with enchanting tables. Shall we disable it's crafting recipe but let them generate anyway? Because without tc we can't enchant stuff, and there's not going to be a whole lot of things to enchant but that would still be nice (bows, armors, GC tools or even vanilla tools) -
2 things to note :
Forestry backpacks no longer create huge lags when standing on a gazillion blocks
Why am I labeled as a guy who can't play without TC since I took the first thing available anyway? :p
But I didn't notice that there would be different backpacks, even though we're missing something with forestry's ones as we can make them pickup items, shift click chests to empty them and such
. So here I put my NOPE again for disabling them.
They're not op, they're segmented between the different blocks and items, and getting the 45 slots ones is a hassle. You could possibly change the recipes for the basic ones but they're already good enough (considering iron now takes so much work to get for example).
-
I know it's hard core, but disabling backpacks is a NOPE.

I'll help building this village!
