another option, I'm not certain how viable it would be, is to simply destroy the used cells and make new ones. It would consume 49 Tin and 8 copper per cell doing so... which would be 1176 tin and 192 Copper per micro-cycle consumed. I don't know what the UUM costs on that would be, if it would be worth it in the long run, but it's at least an option.

UPDATE: According to my calculations, replacing 24 60k cooling cells using UUM to replace tin and copper (assuming consistent scrap supply) is 292,800 per micro-cycle. Using this reactor as a test-bed, each micro-cycle would generate over 9 million EU. Thus estimated energy loss is somewhere around the 3% mark. This would make it very viable indeed.

Nope. Uum is at least 166666 EU per piece, and you need 3 uum per 10 copper/tin. It's way more power than you're calculating.

I still think IC2 is better than UE, some of the concepts in UE addons are a bit... weird, especially in Mekanism. I don't like that the machines take tons of platinum, especially with GT installed. I don't like the magic thingies either. I seriously miss Hawk's machinery an Green technology.

Thank you for not judging UE before using it, though I hope you give it a try since we got a bunch of cool stuff inside now. You can't really say we are "hopeless". On the contrary, I think we are pretty hopeful. We've got over 10 mods with compatibility with UE, and that includes some of people's favorite IC2 addons also (such as MFFS, Modular Powersuits). We've got content from the basics of green energy generation from Mekanism to high end particle physics from Atomic Science. The thing is, we have just been around for 6 months so not everything is as "perfect" as you imagine, but we're getting there. :)

And as always, while you wait for Rocket Science to come out, maybe try out ICBM (http://universalelectricity.com/?m=icbm).

    AAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH SPAMSPAMSPAMSPAM FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUU- :P

As we approached the base, Quint was shot in the head and died instantly. His revival beacon was blown up by a grenade. That base was crawling with sniperbots. Nathan was crushed by a kitchen falling from the sky. The rest of us ran to the base, to get too close for the snipers. Jack was stabbed by an adf.ly link, electrocuting him. When we reached the base, the next thing I knew was a building crashing down on us.

    ---?? days later---
    Wasmic: "What happened?"

Wraith: ++You were crushed. Your teleport beacon survived, though, so we could teleport you out and revive you."

Wasmic: ++Oh, that's why my heads hurt... Did any of the others survive?++

Wraith: ++No, and their beacons had been destroyed in various ways. You were the only survivor. What do you suggest we do with the base?++

Wasmic: ++There's too many spambots down there, and they had a counter-EMP. Nuke it from orbit.++

    Wraith: ++We will do that.++

*Screen pops up and shows a tactical nuke being launched from an orbiting bomber*
*Nuke is shot down by spambot anti-missile laser*

Wraith: ++We were prepared for that. Fire the strategic nuke++

    *100 megatons nuke is dropped*

Wraith: ++Their laser needs to recharge. The tactical nuke was just a decoy.++

    *BIG BADA BOOOOOOOOOOM*

Wasmic: ++I heard there was a lot of turmoil around a space-rift. How did it end?++

Wraith: ++Mark IV spambots approached. Not too many of them, but their gravisuits were overclocked, so we couldn't lock an aim of them. Only because of my psi-implant, I was able to crush a bunch of them.++

Wasmic: ++Sounds bad. What were our losses?++

Wraith: ++A whole capital ship, and many smaller. We were able to revive all fallen warriors.++

Wasmic: ++Sounds bad too. Any status on the MK IV spambots?++

Wraith: ++Yes, they are on a large asteroid in th End. They killed the enderdragon in ten seconds.++

Wasmic: ++What do you say to a little special op? I can't do it alone. You wanna join me?++

I do not think that green gens need to be nerfed, but i would love a reactor-style machine interface. The machines would work as normal, but when shift-clicked with a wrench, it would open the configuration GUI.

    ------INITIATE TRANSMISSION TO ANTI-SPAMBOT ALLIANCE------

Wasmic: "This is Wasmic speaking. I heard something about a giant battle, and I can provide myself as a commando along with 4 genetically mutated volunteers. They are all capable of stealth, guerilla and direct warfare, and are also trained pilots."

    *No response*

    ------ABORT TRANSMISSION------

Wasmic: "We're going to war. Get in your fighters."

    *Jumps into fighter*

Wasmic: ++Hello, Wraith. Do you think you could get a psi-implant for Gregorius, Sinnaj63 and thepowdertoy? That would ease communication a lot, they have to use radio to answer me whenever I try to communicate telpathically with them, and the radio is frequently jammed.++

Wraith: ++That might not be possible. I am not sure if their genes support psi-communication, and the process of installing an implant takes time.++

Wasmic: ++That's a shame. Do you know the position of a big group of spambots? I'm ready to do a bombing run.++

Wraith: ++That i can help you with. Coordinates [reCaptcha encryption] 10001111010100111001001111011001110110101000101010101111010 [/reCaptcha encryption]++

Wasmic:++Thank you. We'll also try to retake the overrun base close by, it looks like most of the spambots are out of it. I might be a bit unresponsive if you try to contact me, that'll be because I'm in a battle.++

    *Turns on radio*
Wasmic: "Uploading coordinates to your fighter/bombers. We're also going to take the base in the area back, be ready."

    *Takes off*
*Sets ship to atmospherical flight mode*
    *Ten minutes later*

Wasmic: "Bombing formation. We're gonna blow the right back to the stone age."

*Initiates bombing run, leading to 15000 spambots being destroyed*
Wasmic: We'll land outside the base, then try to retake it. Wraith will teleport us out if we get in a sticky situation."

    *Lands plane and jumps out*

The other commandos were all genetically engineered, but when they volunteered to the experiments, no one knew what would happen to any of them, as the genetic mutator was quite random. Quint was the least mutated, he was capable of turning invisible. Jack had grown two very strong tentacles out of his back. Nathan had grown claws and a tough exoskeleton, and Ethan, Nathans brother, had lost his legs and grown a 15 meters long snake tail instead.

As we approached the base, we noticed that there were at least 901 spambots in the base.

So, I've seen designs for breeders that can re-enrich 86 (Or with GregTech, 400) isotope cells per uranium/thorium, and now I'd like to know how to easiest automate the process of replacing re-enriched uranium cells with depleted isotope cells. I've got Redpower, Buildcraft, GregTech and UE Assembly line (Though I don't think the last will be of much help...).

Hey sentimel, when i first checked this addon out, i thought it was horribly overpowered (Check my comments on the first page...). But now that i suddenly discovered that you have changed the recipes (How long time ago did you change them, by the way?) I think I'll start using it.

Quick suggestion: Lunar panels! 32 eu/t at night, 16 eu/t at day/rainy night no eu at rainy day! Totally unrealistic, but quite fun and usefull!

So i had a crash. It's not ONLY GT that causes the crash, most of my installed mods causes the same crash. Removing all mods that say "unloadded -> errored" makes MC run smoothly.

    Crashlog:

I use forge 186, by the way. If it's the forges fault, can anyone point me to a place where i can download a working build? The official download site is down.

1: Please try to speak english properly. (I've just shown the basic mistake. Also try using "I" instead of "i")
2: Compact Solars/Advanced Solar Pannels are OP (in my opinion, as they aren't in YOUR opinion) because they allow you not to to not deal with space, cable and losses (because even Optic Fiber has losses).
And Gregtech nerf solar Pannels because they are Overpowered, what is shown by the fact they are Overused (If you think they aren't, try to compare the number of guys using Solar Pannels and the number of Guys using IC²-Fuel (wich isn't really a middle game option) with Generator ... or with Windmills, Nuclear Reactor etc ... (okay, we could say "most of the people don't use Nuclear Reactor, because they aren't smart enough to deal with it, but ... I guess this is not the only reason).iy

And before you start correcting other people's grammar/spelling, I'd suggest that you fix your own. You don't make a lot of mistakes, but please write flawlessly yourself if you want to correct others.
