    Balance... Yes is an Artificial sense in a way, that its use in game developement to make sure that players just don't simple breeze through all of the stuff that where designed in a game.


    Imagine a megaman game where you got all the health upgrades and boss power since the start.
    A call of duty game where you simply cannot die.
    A diablo game where you start at max level with Ultra Epic Stuff.
    etc.


    Its the same here in minecraft, having great stuff doing their greatness without any artificial to deter them, means it will sooner or later make you bored out of your daylights because you will run out of something to do with it.

    Remove ability to craft any coin, only make admins in servers able to produce these coins (After all these coins are totally useless in singleplayer). I don't really understand why you could make the coins in the first place, in the economy sense thats reallyyyyy baddddd.

    My problem is that currently, to switch between horizontal and low-focus modes requires sifting through a list of 7 different modes. . . I'm not sure how well adding a second switch mode button to the laser would improve things.


    Not having to go around all the way if you accidentally miss it. And its only 7 clicks for fucks sakes, unless its more than 10-20 modes i don't see any reason for complain you lazy ass.

    And hey this finally means Nightvision googles can be implemented in IC2 (When eqquiped and activated, gives the Nightvision potion effect until EU runs out)

    I still don't find it as a valid excuse/reason for change. Besides those recipes where never really that secret if you used the Recipe Book or Craftguide and i know at least one of those is older than "The Clusterfuck that shall not be named"...

    So because "The Clusterfuck that shall not be named" is being fucking annoying showing things that should not be showed, we must change the way this mod works just because of that? Dood thats so wrong in so many levels.

    Don't agree with this, in the end Scrap is scrap, waste, something useless that you don't need. Placing a Diamond or something of equal value its a stupid endevour yes, but not for that reason it should give more scrap. Because after all, the Recycler main purpose is of getting rid of stuff that you don't need anymore and its only consuming space and as a side product if you are lucky it will give you some scrap back.


    At best the only thing i could give to you its that complex items (Like machines), should probably give a little more scrap (Read: Probably). And with little i mean less than 3-5.


    Oh, and Code wise it may be easy to do, but you have to insert the "Weight" value MANUALLY for EVERY SINGLE ITEM in vainilla and IC2, and you may have to make a list of every item for easy viewing and then assign a value to each item on that list that seems "Fair" AND THEN you have to code the value for every single item. Its something that may take from hours to days. (See EE for example)


    Oh2, you would need to redo the recycler a little so it may read these "Weight" values and change its operation accordingly to that value.

    Specifically speaking, better than wolves (BTW) was a Forge-mod until *I Think* winter of 2011, when he left forge over a dispute with eloraam. There's an interview on youtube where he explains his rationale for leaving. Nowadays BTW is a base-class modifying mod, incompatible with literally every mod out there, except buildcraft.


    (Why he would go out of his way to provide buildcraft compatibility is anyone's guess.)


    He liked the mod (BC), ergo he made a patch (Better than Buildcraft) so BC players could also play with BTW (Although not with the rest of the other mods). It was pretty much explained in the BtB thread.


    There was compatibility patch which Flower Child said was perfectly legal even if he didn't like it. Seems to have vanished into the net though.


    Yeah but FC didn't make that patch ergo its not what we are talking about here. We are talking about what FC will do since all mods MUST be MP to work now and the only standalone MLMP its apparently dead and FC doesn't want to be anywhere near anything forge related.


    On that note, Risugami will finally retire from updating the regular modloader isn't it? unless its still needed for MP modding? (Not that it matters since forge finally includes its own ModLoader and MLMP.)

    Building on that idea some more, why not also make a pinned topic where each person can upload all their suggestions to (with the already-approved/denied stuff, as well)? It might save time, and it'd certainly save me the trouble of wading back through all the other topics to find the ones I made months ago.


    It becomes annoying to read. Each idea having its own thread (With a fucking clear to read title) makes it easier for the Devs to check ideas, especially the ones they find interesting/might work out with the theme of the mod.

    Lolwut? Making a "infinite" generator its just as easy as making a regular generator but without a condition that makes them able to "make" energy. They just keep making it non stop.
