I would code that lightning rod and released as an addon. But on the off chance a Lightning ACTUALLY happens to hit the rod, i would make it so every machine connected would automatically explode... Or the world w/e choice is good.

@Magus, wasn't the electrolizer recently buffed (Albeit a little). And how about this, Single Use Electrolized Cells, you place one of those in one of our 3 favorite machines to convert it, you lose the electrolized cell (Because it will act like a SU batt), but in exchange the transfer is immediate and the Energy loss is a lot less.

I like the electrolizer the way it is, at best the only change i would agree with, would be making 3 tiers of Electrolized Cell with different EU capacity, LV-MD-HV Electrolized Cells.
And tin pinchers should just use the stupid tin, its there for a stupid reason and its not like you are going to lose the cell, electrolizer is the only machine who does not eat it up.

Yes, but who would use Coal to produce (I'm not speaking about SuperFuel) Fuel when there's BC Oil/Gas to produce the same energy ...
A: We don't know how much Energy Gas will produce nor how we will move it, making it either better or worst than the current fuel canning system.
B: Not everyone have BC installed anymore (like me) -

You may forgot that Eloraam is one of the Forgedevs, so she can change whatever she want.
Any modder can change whatever they want, forgedev or not.
But unless its a very specific mod that plans to redo the whole minecraft (Like terracraft), then most modders should and would stay away from trying to touch the vainilla stuffs because thats mojang stuff. Its like mojang where another modder, and you don't see many modders modding the mods of other modders (Yo dawg) do you?

The system of Fuel is to be replaced. Alblaka already said he would like adding a "Fuel Gen" that accept BC-Oils and "Gas" he would implement, so I guess in this case Biofuel/Fuel/Superfuel would became a bit useless ... (or Biofuel by using IC + Forestry, but I personally think that Forestry is cheating, because it's make you closer of EE)
The system of "Fuel" will be mostly the same, but with the added bonus of BC Oil (If you have installed, i havent bothered with it anymore since 1.2.3, RP Ftw), and possibly the "Gas" Thing.

I seriously doubt the dev team will change anything about the E-Net in this version of the game besides working on a few rough spots or bugfixes.
If the E-Net ever changes, it will be when Ic3 its in development or something, and thats something that we can expect to happen sometime in the next 20 years.

I would rather have all the batboxes MFSU and MSU to work like this... Alas i believe its not really possible due to the inner workings of the E-Net.

It should not be something that is done automatically, but by a machine activated by redstone or player input.
But yeah i don't see many uses to this to actually support some sort of implementation.

Multipurpose Machines are denied, not multiblocks (I think)
Hes just saying, machine at the start of the game needs lots of space and are far from eficient, but as you progress through the game they become smaller and efficients like the current machines. Of course you would need to make a research system of some sort to make this otherwise it would make no sense at all.

Because netherrack is as abundant as Clobstone (Heck like 70% of the whole nether is Netherrack). Glowstone is not. I want to make gunpowder a little easier to obtain not to make it exploitable like hell.

Glowstone is more scarce than netherack (But not so much), and the difficulty to get it early on also.

Well glowstone dust is the best alternative, we don't really need a sulfur block or anything.
