Yes, the compendium is outdated. I have not had time to sit down and update it.

Agreed. It was a poor choice of how I implemented said change. The Compendium was a "Hobby Project" that I took upon myself when the forums were launched, to try to help Al out. I do this in my free time, which I have almost none due to my current work schedule.

As stated above, I've reverted all changes in the past week (including the rule, since it was a poor judgement call on my part). From now on, I'll just go by the current "Stagnant" rule (15 days of no active posts).

There are approximately 20 new suggestions on a daily basis, most of which are repeats of old suggestions/ one liners that aren't fleshed out at all. An additional requirement to posts was added about a week ago (There was at minimum 24 hours notice before it took effect), and only 2 people have been able to follow it. Al has chimed in on a few threads, giving them the green light if they expand on their idea, which failed the newly added requirement (But hey, it's Al's and the IC team's project, not going to step on their toes).

Nah, I've already devised a way of seeing who actually pays attention when it come to suggestions. If it doesn't meet the requirement, it's Automatically Archived, even if it is a good suggestion.

It's crafted with a Glowstone block in the middle and Redstone dust in the NWSE portion of the crafting grid. It functions very similar to RP's lamp blocks.

I can say with the nifty new additions to the BC 3.x branch, I'm looking forward to adding it to my mod repertoire again.

As for the BTBC, it actually is Better (Than Wolves) Then Buildcraft, meaning you have to have an established BTW world to actually use Buildcraft items.... I'm not too sure how I feel about this bridge-mod (Actually, I don't like it one bit, but that's probably because I detest BTW for a few reasons, some of them personal).....

I don't think that adding RP Gem tipped drills (or an add-on) would be balanced at all. If I remember correctly, the Gem pickaxes are a step between iron and diamond, meaning they are the strength of iron when harvesting (Cannot collect obsidian), and have a number of uses somewhere in between that of iron and diamond (comparable to Bronze pickaxes).

After re-reading the OP: So you want a useless alternative between the normal an diamond tipped drills? Trading off a slight increase of harvesting speed for less uses (Consumes more power to go faster you know) AND not be able to harvest Obsidian?

Played around with some stuff:

Qsuit and Jetpack(s) work properly in The End.
Mining Laser is pretty boss against the Ender Dragon.

Mining Drills/Mining Lasers (prob etc) ARE enchantable, but the enchants are useless as intended (A Fortune III/ Unbreaking III D-tipped Mining drill depleted as fast as a normal D-drill, and yielded no extra drops).

Just a few things I got to play around with in the 15 minutes before leaving for work (I know it isn't much, but work's been keeping me too busy).

It's already being fixed for the Next version.
