    Yes to restrictions because apparently i can make a Death Star out of Dyes Only... Maybe if i sell those...

    Have you read my post whole? Why you want restrictions? To forbid yourself to get Lapis? Get Blue Die. To forbid yourself to get Bonemeal? Get White Die. Or you want to paint a sheep by cactus then make cactus waterproof from the wool?

    1. if one mod doesnt cut it for you, you dont need to alter the mod to make ik suitable for you. just get another that suplies your needs.
    2. true, but i realy dont see the need for this "magically enlightening block" which is similar to redstone ore.
    3. no block to emit any light level controlable by signal? luminater pops up...RP lamps...
    4. no simple way to detect liquid flow? come on... what does that have to do with industrial craft? (not the best argument ever trolol)

    1.&4. That's why I doubt IC2 will add it.
    2. People always wanted lighted floor, but to use RS ore for this is not good.
    3. Luminator and others has on/off states only. RS Dust has 16 states, let RS Block able to emit 16 levels of light according to it. It can always be downscaled for RP wires.

    Colored Wool + Extractor = a CHANCE to get the color of the dye (Restrictions apply, stupid notch not adding Brown, White, Blue and Black dyes), Wool is lost.

    Agree, but no restriction, please. Better add needed new dies as Eloraam adds Indigo. Also easy recipes possible like Ink Sac -> Black Die to be used in solar panels instead of Coal Dust. And to be dropped by Blackthorn.

    there is something called the aluminium-air battery and they are one one of the most energy dense battery's we use today.
    the way it works (via wikipedia) is (dumbed down look it up if you want the technical stuff) you get power from aluminum slowly turning in to aluminum oxide. and then you recycle the aluminum oxide to make more aluminum. as long as the battery doesn't make more power than it takes to recycle an aluminum-air battery could make a nice alternative to the electrolyzed watercell something like less efficient but could be used in normal machines like a battery if some one wanted to, or cut out the ability to recycle it and make it a new way to make single use batteries.

    I cannot tell, how to use aluminum, but you will not need new map for it.
    Aluminum got from clay. This means we can turn Clay to Aluminum in Electrolizer.
    And if alucells will be added, we can use Electrolizer to recharge it.
    But Clay is rare in MC world, so no waste aluminum to paint, can, picks, shovels. Find some better need for it.

    apart from the 9<->1 and the last thing you said, were all the exact same stuff i did just in a different way. but yes, have the Redstone blocks activated when touched, not just stepped on. stepped on was just the most common. i've wanted "step on light up" block since MC Alpha. i wanted to make a floor out of Redstone Ores in my house just to run across.

    RS dust changes it's appearance from bright to dim in 16 steps iirc. So let this block. You can make it vary light level by changing length of RS dust before it.

    Would be cool if redstone block permanently send a light level of 8 and when stepped a light level of 15. so your house wont spawn mobs (if your floor is made of it) and will light up when you get in

    No. Make level 8 from another source, from the ceiling for example. Also Mobs should not be spawned on this block as on a Glass.

    3*3 non holed storage block better. Craftable 9<->1.
    This block needed, but should it be in IC2?
    As to behavior, it seems it should be big RS wire:
    - take RS signal from RS dust and torch;
    - not sure should it be solid to hold RS torch;
    - conduct RS signal to adjacent RS dust (not blocks) in all directions;
    - become bright and emit light according to RS level 0-15;
    - become active if movement detected (hit, stepped, item dropped, liquid flow touch any side) if possible.

    3. they would have to code a seperate individual texture for each individual block and code it like an arrow or something. WAY to much effort.

    As far as I know Sand/Gravel falls on parabola if has horizontal velocity. Why not to teach other block to fly this way?

    4. you mean like shooting a block and having it impcat into something or firing a redstone torch and having it activate a machine?

    No. Throwing something forward throw you backward. Reactive movement.

    5. the laser would be more of a "teleportaion beam" that would basically turn the block into energy and then fire it and turn it back into matter as soon as it hit a wall. it would simply be the indication and aiming tool to show exactly where it is landing. how else would you show the "in-flight" transportation method of an object?

    So you want Anti-Mining_Laser.

    the idea for the modes was either only load cobble (Rock-it Launcher) and adjust range with modes. or make it a universal "Block Launcher" and control the launched object with modes. which idea to use would be up to alblaka. would be nice to get his input and which he'd like to code asap so that we can decide which idea to run with.

    Cobble can be substituted by special Sand/Grovel + glue block or CF block/pellet.
    Just what dev choose.

    Can any block be propelled as falling Sand/Gravel?
    Better use mode key to select impulse to throw block from the first appropriate slot.
    Blocks should fall on parabola so you need to aim good.
    Also can it give reactive impulse?
    And no ray emitting.

    Eight wooden dusts per glue instead of four to result be based on wood but not glue. Must produce several result items.
    Slime as alternative for sticky resin just because it is sticky too.
    Wooden panel instead of planks to not be used in wooden tools and such recipes and in case Alblaka would want to play with cable connection restriction like RP2 covers.
    It is not bad to produce paper from wooden dust (like in Forestry) but imho glue is not needed in process. But would be good to use compressor for this. Not sure, can it make one paper from two wooden dusts.

    You need glue and press in order to do something usable from wooden dust. And would you await durability from wooden dust?
    So 8 wooden dust + sticky resin (or slime) =Compressor=> ? wooden dust plates (or planks ?)
    Can be made paintable as CF blocks.
    If Alblaka able to make it usable like a RP2 covers? Sometimes cables need it badly. It can lower E.net lag significantly.
