To the poster: don't rename your thread like that lol. Just try to add some actual content, something not totally stupid ^^. (and let's see if we can discuss about after that)

@bove Even with IC2 Windmills are exspensive enough to not be OP.
Nope. They're as expensive as Solar Pannels, which means cheap. And you just need not tobe a noob to use them.

Nice add-on nonetheless...
It's a suggestion, you know ?
Btw, I've already thought about that, and I agree an Industrial-Robot to replace Wolfs would be cool but ... the way you're describing it is strange(especially for the recipies part)

B. Mat, this is about generating power for your very first machines- watermills are an inexpensive way to manually boost your power level. At this point, you barely have enough tin to make the cables for the serious windmill towers, not to mention any spare stacks of iron just laying around to make an excessive amount of generators, and no macerator to grind coal and make solar panels.
1) Without GT, but that's not an issue there.
2) Geothermal Generator is quite cheaper, and you'll just need a BC pump or some cells ... -
That has been done already, but never on any bigger scale, as it isn't economically feasible. You don't even need a particle collider for that, you can radiate platinum or a specific mercury isotope that makes up 0.15% of natural mercury. I'm sure you are aware that neither of those ways would make any sense whatsoever, neither in real life nor in the game, and not only because you would need a breeder reactor and because the process would be terribly slow.
1) I already suggested that kind of breeder months ago, to bot GT and vanilla IC²
2)Yeah, it'd be quite unefficient IRL ... but who care ? In IC², Geothermal Generator are easier to get than Solar Pannels! Would you think we'd IRL waste energy on centrifuging Lava ? Seriousl, it'd be awesome to breed any element in a Nuclear Reactor, if it was kind of Random and not explained by Greg, so we'd have to test it ... it could be kind of a research system(or, assuming some events may happen randomly, you could have to open your Reactor GUI every minutes, just to check the cell didn't reach a transmutation point yet, and you'd need to change frequently of particles emitters to makes it turn in exactly what you want, so it couldn't be automated and it'd need to be always looking at your Reactor GUI, what I personnaly love ^^)

If he is using GT Solar panels are alot later game, and then again, you need Aluminium and circuit assemblers for Water mills.
No shit Sherlock!
Guess why I assumed he is not using GT ... you don't see ? You pointed it out yourself -
superior? LOL, whatever. we'll just have to agree to disagree on that point.
Maybe. But the point on which I agree with him, is the fact it's better to do it with Vanilla RS, since every player use it. BTW CC is OP, so it'd be a shame to make player use it instead of Vanilla RS. And it seems, according to some modders, than CC is also laggy.

$If you want to use machines you will need a way to generate EU. When you start a generator running on charcoal does the work really good, but when you can I recomend you to get some watermills as they are so easy to make and generate some energy at a good rate. When you crafted the generating stuff switch to the next step.
Seriously o_O ?
I would recommand anyone not to follow these instructions and to go on GregoriusT+SpwnX tutorial, it's much more detailed, and it does not contain anything that ... stupid, sorry
Watermills, for now, are the worst generator ever:
1) Unmanned setups using RP2 habe been nerfed and now, for the lag (graphical, mostly) it creates, it's not worth to use that. And their intended way of generating infinite energy is ... half bugged, half useless, since you'll need 2.5 of these to get the output of a solar pannels, assuming you're not sleeping etc ... and, it's a real pain to set up (you'll need tower, cables, water ... It's not THAT expensive, and quite easy to understand, but that's a bit boring and bit longer than just putting solar pannels ^^)You'd better use Geogens (from RP2 Volcanoes/Vanilla lake, assuming you're using at least BC, and that, even if you're not, tin cells aren't that expensive), they output a nice 20EU/t, with 5 Coal/Charcoal=1 Lava bucket/source/cell (in terms of EU generated, of course), and if you're kind of a cheater, you can even power these by lava lakes from the Nether and teleporting the lava with any Tesseract or such ... AND, even if you're not using these, you can just live in the Nether
If you're really a noob (which is very likely to be, if you're reading this thread with the purpose of learning IC²-Mechanics, you COULD use some Solar Pannels and spamm it, but I would instead higly recommend you to use the SpwnX-tutorial for Windmills, or to use some Nuclear Reactors (the funnier ^^).

How interesting, I have something similar, I get very bad headaches from any light source more blue than about 500nm.
Lol, so I guess even playing is ... a torture ?
If I wanna protect my base against you ... I'll make it in BLUE WOOL! -
btw one fundamental aspect of most force fields is that they do fuse. This is known as the superposition principle.
Yeah but ... I mean, like he said it, it sounded like "each force field move to join the other and they become even more powerful together" ^^. I mean, I know the superposition principle, but I don't use to call that "fusing"

I have thought about quite a few ways how Gravity could work in particular, and all these Models I thought of made gravity manipulation impossible to do with any Technology. According to my Model, it is just a large Energy field, compressing matter together by fusing gravity Fields of "Mass having particles" together, making it larger, and so more attractive. But that's only what I thought about, a while ago about physics.
No you're not at all ^^. I mean, gravity is considered as generating a Force Field (which just means it affect the space around [and the whole space, but as the laws is 1/d² related, d being a distance ... we can say this effect is local], and this is just a way to describe the gravity that don't make interfere any "instant information transmission", which means using this way of explicating gravity is considering every single point in the space have a value for each force, i.e you don't have to imagine that "the particle attracted by the earth "know" exactly where is the earth at each moment". Also, I don't think it'd be considered as an Energy-Field. And fiels don't "fuse together", it's just that each particle add a bit to the space-distorsion, and at the end, IF YOU'RE OUT OF THE ATTRACTIVE BODY, the sum of all these distorsions makes you attracted by the gravity center of that body. That's just integral-related.
Btw, mass having particles ?
I guess you meant particles having mass lol.

really nice discussion + and - both....
Would you explain that statement so I can understand it ?
Actually ... don't do. No need to bump this threadfuck, I'm doing it myself ...

And for the Gold Pans: I plan to add Dirt which contains gold nuggets in River Biomes.
I hope more than Gold right ? Wait ... DON'T NERF CLAY! I LOVE IT AS IT IS!
Ok, there's maybe too much of it but ... Btw, will you a day add any machine making Cobble useful ? (with cobble to scrap disabled). I mean, I'm one of the guy that harvest it with tools, and I don't wanna waste it xD. Maybe a GregTech Better-than-Quarry-but-consuming-steel-and-others-such-as-RC-Boiler ? I need that
I wanna power a quarry with Nuclear Reactors

Congratulations, you have successfully made my brain ache... It might take me some time to plunder over that
Then, do NEVER come in France to study at my school

Quote fail.
Yup. Don't know how to change it.

That reminds me of the Lolly Pop weapon for the Pyro in TF2. That'd be awesome.
Yeah lol. If so, I guess some Lolly Pop-made goggles should show trees as Giant Lolly Pops, Water as Milk, Water as Chocolate and Grass as Ice cream ^^. Wait ... that's called a texture pack lol
