But be careful, as Sugar cane is easy to get in huge amount with forestry, a bit harder with RP2, and at an incredible cost in MC vanilla (1 piston per sugar cane + water source ^^)
Or simply add something as for the rollingmachine from BC: that would decrease all the value you want when Foresty installed.
That's what I'm trying to say, you said it better than I did. Why not apply that same thinking to the Recycler? To use your words - Change it in such a way that it won't affect your gameplay, but the end result will be more "technological".

We're both saying the same thing here. Yes, CASUC still exists. It exists in a new form, i.e. an overhaul. It's much better than before, no? And there are more gameplay options available to people not interested in spamming the same thing over and over again, yes? Why not apply the same thinking to the cobblegen->recycler->masfab production tree?

And ... to you two, what do you think about pickaxe crafted from cubic meter of cobble stone ? Of machine integrated certainly complex sysetm crafted with 8 Refined Iron Ingot ... to me it makes sense, but not more than crafting a nuke with gunpowder and Ura. I think the best way to improve the nuke would be to make it more expensive, Tier 2/3-based --> harder to get for grieffers/PvP users.

Gas cells + centrifuge: Methance cells + interesting byproducts
methane + centrifuge + fuel can = filled can
filled can + slag gen = tons of EU and MEGA tons of scraps 
Remember what happened to Nuclear? The concept was being abused; everybody was spamming the same damn waterbucket-CASUC reactor design, so the devs came in and made a much-needed overhaul. With recyclers, everybody is spamming the same damn cobblestone->recycler->massfab design, so why not apply that same thinking to this situation
Not really tre if you consider the fact they implemented LZH/RSH as a way of replacing Waterbucket for CASUC. And Al said that it has been implemented because he prefer a "more technological way of cooling".
Regular Breederreactors are the way to go then, but i will add Plutoniumbreedingcells as well as "Lithium->Tritium"-cells to the Reactorcomponents.
In this case I hope it won't be useful to generate even more EU / ura, but only to craft the nuke, because otherwise everybody would use it uracells and turns it into Plutonium cells. Maybe I misunderstand and it was meanted to be produced from depleted Plutonium cells ?

Implemented in Gregtech, but it's still a good idea. In my mind cobble shouldn't be free (the only thing I hate about RP2 ...)
Get GregTech addon if you are already at end-game and want enderpearls.

But in my mind, gunpowder should be more useful as a mining tool, and I think dynamites aren't currently ...
So I thought about something to make dynamites really useful: a dynamites block (crafted with 1 cobblestone + 1 dynamite) that would explode directly when hit, and destroying 9 blocks (basically, the same blast power as dynamites, but with only one direction). It would be ignited by leftcliking, and would explode in the opposite direction from where it has been palced (useful for digging tunnel, for optimized mining and tell me if you don't understand what I said ^^)
But having a form of mechanical power relating to industrial craft would be nice. SO far, only BC engines and Railcraft have that in place in their own forms...
I would also like it, but as a way of more efficient EU-generation but more complicated to deal with.

Excuse my question if it's stupid, but how are Solar Turbine Generator supposed to be automatized without bucket and without wasting tin ? I think if it's not already implemented (and it doesn't work in my version, so I gues it's not) you should add the ability for adjacent pumps to provide water. (I really thought that was possible, because I've seen one post from you saying that two pumps were good to run it at max heat. (I guess this is IC² pump).
Or it could pump water by itself, because it already has two pumps in the craft
