    If i remember properly buildcraft supports nuclear reactors. Just use compressors with water cells or pumps to get snow and compress it again to get ice and pipe it in to the reactor. Automate it all with pipes and you should be set, if you need external cooling that bad on a reactor you should be able to net enough energy gain to make it worthwhile. But then again I don't play with reactors that much so you will have to figure it out.

    Yes, and I've tried it, but it is not very efficient: you need min 20% of the energy you produce with the nuclear reactor to create Ice Blocks, and it's a lot of compressor/redstone engine/tube/cable.
    RedPower CASUC is 10 time more efficient (and cheaper)

    Or simply, as I already suggest, the Redstone-O-Mat ? My Idea was to pay for getting a redstone signal, but GregoriusT improve it with suggesting we could just add a redstone signal function to the basic Trade-O-Mat. Then, you've just to use properly Detector/Switcher Cable and you can sell your energy.

    I agree with you for the first quote. But I think we should have juste 2 modes: 1 Travelling mode (a very fast one, as already suggested, but not divided in Horizontal/Vertical modes) and 1 "Creative" mode, to build.

    Not in my opinion, as they hold as much energy as the Qsuit parts does. Also they are multi-use jetpacks. Which is great for building, elevator, speed travel with no obstacles in your way, etc. If Safe-mode could be toggled together with any other mod together, would be even more usefull.

    Also, add the possibility to teleport blocks above teleporters. [So we can teleport chests and other interesting stuff. A MFSU for example]

    I think it wouldn't be an easy way to do it, a Chest-teleporter would be better.
    Minecart okay, Minecart chest okay, for more usage, use the Idon'trememberhowit'scalled Minecart-Mod.

    Me and my friends decided to stick with just IC2 as the tech mod and few smaller mods as additions for more stability. We never tried Redpower before but we're pretty sure to not add that (along with BC, Thaumcraft, and other big tech mods) into our current world.

    What would happen if I ask Notch for implementing a part of IC² in MC because I don't want to play with all IC² ? Nothing. Just use RP, we won't add something just for "you and your friends".
    Could be added if it has a different function than the RP one.

    The Idea is very simple: You've Overclocker, Transformer and Energy Storage Upgrade:
    I think we should have "Efficienty Upgrade".
    It would decrease the Machine Energy-Consumption/Increase Gen production (of course, only for basic one and Geothermal, and Fuel Gen if it get added).
    2 option: 1) It's unstackable (so you max 4 per machine, and maybe 1 per gen)
    2) It's very inefficient (so for example, it could divide energy consumption by 2 with 16 Upgrader)

    The craft would need circuit, advanced Circuit, Golden Cabble and I don't know what else.

    I know, it has probably already been suggested/denied, but not for Gen AND machine, isn't it ?

    Well, I was planning to upgrade all my machines to 128 EU/t (Medium Voltage) using Transformer Upgrades. But there's no such slot in the Canning Machine. The same happens with the Miner. I wanted to place MFEs above it, but I need to place LV-Transformers first.

    I Searched the forum, I didn't find this suggestion anywhere.I did not do it too by myself but I think it's has already been suggested.

    Overclocking Miner, are you crazy ? I find them too speed (I like it, but what I dislike is to move them always, because of their very little area of mining)
    Canning machine ... Are canning machine as used as it ? I only use it on PvP servs, when I haven't yet Q-suits.
    And it's not as if you have tons of food to put in these cans, compared to how many ore you have to macerate ...

    its a bug if it wasn't intentional. I'm say it should be brought back as a intended feature. even with the old recipe you would need a eff of at least 3 (mk3 dangerous and needs to be baby sat) or a breeder(also dangerous and often needs to be baby sat) just to break even. sure you can use scrap to make uum cheaper but that is a time consuming process to get enough trash and run it through the recycler with out mods

    I know that's not a bug. That's why I add "/energy gain"
    And without mods, it's a bit difficult, I know. But how many people are playing IC² without RP or at least BC ?
