Then 20k for vanilla furnace is bug...
Actually 20k energy for single lava block will result in 100 items inside fully charged induction furnace anyway, same result in lowtech stone furnace.

Burning cost 160 per operation, resulting in only 12.5 operations, instead 100, looks like someone forgot single zero here.

Also it burn single item for 8 seconds, vs 9.25 of normal furnace, this is only 15% speed boost and 25% fuel effective, in case of lava -90% fuel effective.

it can be fixed by slot mapptings for individual machines or chest proxy.

its possible to autofarm cactus and reed without any user interaction, leaves must be harvested manually...

in IC1 plants was usefull for crafting single use batteries, now farming useless.

there is no coding issue with chest finding and pipes processing actually, much more harder things done with other machines.
Just check ajusting blocks for id, if chest found check every slot.

with mining laser getting diamonds easy, they spawn in every chunk.

just add debug output in release version, press x get metadata from item currently in your hands (if hands empty, from block you hit last time), this will solve all problems with electric items.

ic2 wiki is not allowed for non dev posts (no way to create new page with lowflow wire or any other new item) when this will be fixed everything will be available on wiki due 3rd party editors.

treetap is fine but if you spawned in desert - may take long time.

teleported does not use any wires, it detect energy blocks around and drain energy from them.
there is no code to handle power inside teleporter class.
you cant attach any wires to teleporter.teleporter energy consumption is pos.infinitycos it consume variable amount of energy instantly.
energy depends on distance and amount of items inside inventory.

distance^0.5*inventory100 distance teleport for player with empty inventory will cost 1000*100^0.5 energy 10k energy.
same teleport over 1000 distance will cost 30k energy.game will explode any non registered teleporters on tileentity update - if you turn redstone, or load game.

When you start game, you have no notification about IC is running and can't check it in few seconds (rubbertree is rare, ore underground)
Suggestion is simple - test recipe, 3 dirt with empty slot upright into 3 dirt.
If this is craftable - you installed IC2 right.note: ic2 archive name with "2" as special character ignored on some systems and file must be renamed in order to run.
