I was pretty sure you need Forge 1.0.6 not v2 or whatnot.

I think Alblaka is saying that it would need to coded into the Forge.

We probably wont hear anything for a while, maybe not even until its implemented if they do. xD

I havent checked since 0.9, but the Electric Jetpack had two identical recipes defined as well.
-
I'd like to see an electric engine addon at some point in the future too =P

Download NBToolkit.
Download the attached bat files.
Extract both to same folder.
Backup world.
Edit IC2_MakeNewOre.bat to point at your world file.
Run IC2_MakeNewOre.bat.
Enjoy.

Put an Iron Ingot in the Furnace?
-
I believe that is a bug.

The sounds are great and all, but I'm very tempted to open them up and halve the volume on most of them. They tend to be very jarring and overwhelming.
The compressor sound is almost perfect, not jarring at all. But even it could be about 20% quieter.

Well I find this particular bug both hilarious and annoying. Anytime a cow gets near one of my Iron Cables carrying 2024 EU, they start taking damage and making all kinds of noise. Now by near, I mean a good 6 blocks away or more.
It happens both on land and near insulated cables (contrary to the screenshot).
I however only take damage when I touch the cable.

Insulated Wire wont attach to block like that. Its a feature I think.

Yep I just got this too with the Batpack.
Additionally, when I shift-clicked that Batpack while wearing it, it disappeared. =O
Had to make a new one.
No TMI used.

And what the hell, how could you transfer the ELECTRIC ENERGY with the optic fiber cable?
This bothers me very much. =P
At the very least if you are using high powered laser transmission you should have to have special blocks at each end of the line to convert the energy from electricity to light and back.

I have planted about a dozen rubber trees near my base and a 15 min resin run will net me about three stacks of rubber. So for me rubber is more about whether I can be bothered to go harvest it or not. =P
On the other hand, my Induction Furnace is causing me transmission problems. My system is highly efficient when transferring large amounts of power long distances, but system is sending packets 1 EU/t at a time with massive losses per packet. I have a total of 45 EU/t generating capacity, but the MFEs at the generating stations never fill because of the stupid furnace. I'm hoping 1.0 fixes the issue.
-
Way too much required if you want to transfer power far away from the base. Also, impractical if you want to utilize the power far enough from the base that its chunks unload.
Just asking why Gold or Fibre was needed to wire the workshop.
-
How would you integrate the miner and pump into such a system? They really shouldnt be ignored since they are an integral part of a real geothermal system.
-
Ooh...like a storage minecart with legs. I like.
I never have enough room in my inventory anymore, too many tools.

I used my cutter till there was one use left, at that point the bar turned green again. Next time I used it, the cutter was destroyed.

Something wrong with copper and Iron wire?
-
The smaller cables are indeed awesome, but I personally think Iron Cable is still MUCH too big. =/
My poor overhead wiring suspended from telephone poles looks atrocious. =(
