even trough it will be a cool idea, i think it will be useless, portals is too easy to make.
maybe a teleporter to the end but it realy dont have a use, there is a rock/sand in the end and then obsidian and nothing more, soo it will be useless to go there to. and if it is to fight the ender dragon, well, it will be like entering a cheat code to get to the final level in a game = not fun

that is only if you have scrap to make the mass fab, run faster. (and it is 200.000 EU)
and for that you need 40-45 scrap for each uum you make = 240 scrap for 6 uum (1 uranium)
and the recycler have 1/8 change to make 1 scrap = 1920 blocks (30 stack) * 35 EU = 67500 eu to recycle the blocks
now will you mine 30 stacks each time you will make 1 uranium? i don't think so

it is a lot of babysitting you need to do, to get the 200+ M EU, before even 20 solars have gathered that much, if it is even possible (without TMI)
in a breeder you can make 8 uranium cells, and if placed in a reactor that is 8 mill for 1 uranium = 8 uum
or is placed in a reactor with 2x eff that give 16 mill UE
will like to get a opinion from the IC2 team.

now that you are done placing the solars, you have unlimited energy, and you dont have to do anything about it.
if you used the uranium, you need to
breed it then place it in reactor AND keep a close eye on it, so it don't explode.
and you need to make new parts for the reactor if they break.

want to have the UUM uranium back. i know it got removed because you can create more energy with it.
but what about solars, windmills, watermills, you just place them and get infinite energy from them, and they lag a lot. when there is a lot of people online on the server i play on, everything run slow, maybe even as low at 20% of full speed.
if we get the recipe back, people will be more willing to make a reactor and not use solars as much. there by make it lag less

have you tryed to move a lot of blocks +10 blocks?

a tool that when you use it, it will push the block in front of you, like the piston
for balance reason, it is a good idear to only let it be able to move 1 or 2 blocks at a time
the tool is mainly for fun use, (like scrap box (please add cookies))
but it can be used to:
push mobs far away (+15 blocks?)
make you rubber tree farm more efficient
move ores (redstone, diamond, coal, lapiz, gigant mushrooms! uranium), so you can build with them and make you house look cool

well as the mod is now it do need a lot of CPU to run smooth in smp, if many people is on and there is lots of solars/generators.
i cant find anyone there have surggested something like this, so here i go:
i like the buildcraft pump + pipe to be compatible with the geoterm generator, becouse in version 2.2.0 the pump can suck up alllava too, and i think it will look really cool to see the lava flow in to my generator.
