well there is no energy loss, BUT the batboxes can only output 32 EU/t (32 solars) that means if it recive more then 32 eu/t, say 2 times 32/EU/t = 64 EU/t
then the extra 32 EU will just sit in your batbox and do nothing.

when i have a excess heat at -X the reator keep getting hotter

but i think that the EU loss will be calculated like adding the block EU loss together so if you have a 100 block long cable with 50 gold and 50 glass fiber
the EU loss will be 50*0.4+ 50*0.05=22.5 EU loss after 100 block with 50% gold 50% glass fiber.
and it will not change by placing 1 gold - 1 fiber -1 gold and so on
are you sure that numbers is right, you are loosing more EU when using gold?

and powering a mass fab with LV?
HV dont give you more EU it just stores it and send it in 1 big current
so using HV to power a mass fab is only ideal if it is far away (wiki)
also scrap boxes is not in the game right now, but if they are gonna be impalmented ther is a small chance they give you diamonds (if they are the same as IC1)
and last crador: the 40K EU you loss if you destroy a box... that is 40K EU you didnt have if you used HV
most machines can only receive LV, so why use MV and HV.
the few machines there can take more then LV can also take LV right?

well a line of batboxes + cable can go to infinity with out loosing any power at all + it stores your energy.
only reason i see to use higher voltage is to get to the better energy storage blocks
ok if you have a huge power plant there is over 32 EU/t (64 solars) then you can go up to MV but to get over 128 EU/t is VERY rarely the need.
so explane to me why it is a good idea to use anything thing LV except if you have a VERY high energy output

and i think so too, you can hit mopd with anything in mine craft even a torch can damage mob why not a heavy mining drill,
as the title say, cows pig chickens, or CREEPERS can be damages by ether mining drill or diamond drill
when i set up a ring of batboxes so the energy loop back to the first one it stop sending EU/ showing that it send EU in the hole ring
my setup:
a little testing show me that the first box will fill up to 40000 EU and the last box only 53 EU and then stop
never mind it is working now, think it was a glitch, cant replicate the bug
also replacing the first box solved the problem
