First, bullshit. Take a good long look at how the IC2 community reacts to new people and tell me there isn't favoritism and gool ol'boy syndrom. Welcome to basic group psychology, newcommers are judged way more harshly than regulars for the same actions. It's the reality of any group.
My personal (not that from the others) judgement comes from "how well the suggestion is written", not from "who wrote it", and if its well written, then i just kindly say that it got denied/presuggested, but if it's not, THEN IT GOES INTO SHIFTKEY-HOLDING FLAME!!!
I came to these forums to post my addon mod, since then I've been attacked with some of the worst conclusion jumping I've seen since highschool. You personally have argued multiple times against a point I never made, making me wonder if you even read what I write or if you're just skimming and letting your pre-judged views of all things technic fill in the blanks.
As i saw your old Post, i understood perfectly, that you just wanted to use an Item-ID, and i was strongly wondering, what all these Highpostcount-People were complaining about stealing code. But i think i saw this only, because i know a bit about how Minecraft is coded.

+1 for the suggestion, as I would use it too.Massfab? I use my "MISEL Mk II"-Design to limit its consumption 100% effectively on fresh Scrap, so thats not a valid use. Also it got already suggested as a new Energysystem, which balances the Energy like Redpower, this is pretty much the same useless Stuff.

I know some forums have word filters, could add Flashlight, Mining Helmet, and Lightning Rod to a filter and then they'll be starred out of every post.
Dont forget to add all the possible Misspells of Lightningrod. It should give you a very scary Warning if you try to add a suggestion which contains such Words.

um ,gregorius im not talking about changing anything, just adding another item, how i have it figured out...that it would give people using smaller reactors a boost but be pretty much useless for casucs ..

There is no UUM-Recipe for Enderpearls (i've not checked if there are new Recipes in IC²-1.96)

This would be a nuclear item that caused all adjecent cells to generate a set amount of energy more each reactor tick say 5 eu/t, it would not cause adjecent cells any extra heat build up, however it would give 5 heat at reactor hull while reactor is in use. ( secound fission rod would give 10 heat , 3 would give 15 , 4 th 20 ,,,)
crafting recipe would of coure be HAYO-ishly expencive :

Why not adding a hand-teleporter (already sugggested ?/already denied ? I did not find it.) working a bit as the one from Essentials (Right/Left clic on a block to teleport yourself) and using EU ?
We have already Blocks-Teleporter, it could just be a tool, but using 5* more energy than the normal one. Useful to build, to move instantly ... Could store 1000 000 EU ...
It's more advanced and more useful than a Advanced Jetpack, aren't you ?Threadjack-alarm! Threadjack-alarm!!!
Also an Enderpearl is enough to that purpose (And its not that OP, than this).

Hey. I just think it would be great if I didn't have to always make torches to go explore some mines. Maybe if I had a hand-held flashlight that ran off battery, and maybe another stylish head strap to have a hands-free light source. If the code is possible this would be a great addition to an already awesome mod.
Perhaps a recipe for a parabolic lens of tin, with perhaps some sort of glow/red stone bulbs? Just some suggestion.You do know that there is a Compendium of denied Suggestions? A Flashlighthelmet is listed there, and that Suggestion is veeeeery old.
