I've been placing dynamite sticks for tunneling just lately, and using the dyno mote to set them off, the same way i have been since i started playing but now the dyno mote won't set off the dynamite? (no, im not using sticky dynamite)

I'm not sure if this has been proposed before, but here goes: A mid to late game suit of armour (or perhaps just gloves and boots) that allows you to walk up or down mineshafts or even on ceilings. The gecko part being zillions of tiny hairs that gecko's have on their feet to help them do exactly that.

I'm getting a crash report, and i think i've narrowed it down to the crossover mod, as industrialcraft and buildcraft run without the crossover mod installed.

I've seen this applied in the real world, but i forget the proper name for it. Basically, in the real world buildings are being designed that can generate electricity when people walk over the specialised flooring.

I suppose this would be OP perhaps in a multiplayer setting, so you could code into it that it will only generate say 20 eu each time someone stands on it, and you can only stand on it once every 2 minutes or so.

I imagine that it would have to be hard coded for players only, as i can potentially see people luring a bunch of animals into an area filled with the generator plates.

I've been tinkering with buildcraft, industrial craft and the crossover mod for sometime now, and i built something which works rather well for my needs:

x4 oil refineries which transfer the fuel into a series of tanks, which then transfer the fuel into x4 petrochemical generators, and then into x3 MFSU'S.

    Total output: 20.4 million EU

Energy input: 1.2 million eu over two solar array grids (one to power the industrial engines, the other to power the small electric engine used to power the buildcraft pump.

I don't know about you folks, but i can't even get 1.2.5 to work if i install anything in the jar aside from modloader. I install modloader mp and forge and the game freezes.

[edit] apparently modloader mp and forge are no longer compatible and something else is being worked on to replace modloader mp. Sorry if anyone else has said this.

That sounds like what i was thinking of, i've been using EU detector cables when stepping up and down current, if for no other reason that it's a visual cue that the process is working :)
