ok ha ha we all had a nice laugh now lets see if i can salvage this.
1. as far as repairing armor goes the name is unimportant if you don't see cleaning your rubber boots as a way to gain back durability then call it something else
2. here is another use for the [insert name here] machine besides armor repair. it can clean off ores simply run your dirty raw normal ore through the machine and get back a scrubbed ore then when you run it through the macerator since there is less slag and mass it will macerate faster and has a chance of giving you 3 dusts
3. to be more realistic we could say that different armors have different points to which they are beyond cleaning. so non metallic armor's like leather, rubber, static-boots, and diamond can be cleaned up to 60% damaged, gold and composite armor can be cleaned up to 30% damage, and everything else can be cleaned up to 15% damage
4. through in dirt blocks and have a slim chance of uncovering trace ore deposits such as gold nuggets(rarest), iron dust heaps(uncommon), new items that can be made in to tin and copper dusts(relatively common), scrap(commonest but like I said the odds of getting stuff is slim its like panning for gold and its not 1849) -

Description: the basic idea is [new machine]+[damaged non electric armor]+[eu]=[fully repaired piece of non electric armor]. if this is to unbalanced we could just say something like since the machine only cleans it only repairs armor that is less than 50% damaged

Any sane person would activate that speed boost to escape if the odds were against them, or more likely combat-log. It's impossible to hold a monopoly on energy, and anyone that has Quantum certainly isn't some bozo that's easily raided.
There is pretty much only one legit way to defeat Quantum, which would be to find a hole in bedrock and trick them into falling into the void, and that's quite hard.first what part of ic2 is not intended for pvp and alblaka is working on a pvp addon didn't you understand.
second it doesn't matter where they run if they can't charge their suit. and when there is no way to charge electric weapons and armor the guy who invested in splash potions and enchanted diamond armor wins. you want to beat guys in quantum armor? then go back to your vanilla roots and start brewing, and exp farming

The tv mod only plays videos. Thaumcraft contains no such cctv-like abilities, and portal mod is for portals, yes it displays a remote area but it's less than ideal.
thaumcraft portals display like portal mod but lets you cycle through your destination from 1 portal and as a result the area you are monitoring. also ic2 is smp no mod that has cctv like function has ever been smp compatible

Well the intent wasn't really for it to watch shows and whatnot. The intent is sort of like a security camera, or so you could remotely monitor an area. A camera and tv, the tv displays what the camera is pointed at.
yeah look at the tv mod that the yogscast spotlighted, or thaumcraft, or portal mod
