To the make Teleporter into Generatorpart: Thats not possible because you lose the double of the Energy you get back.

What you are thinking about is an Antimatterchainreactor, just fill any Matter in and you get ridiculous amounts of Energy. It creates its own Antimatter from half the Energy you produce from the Matter and the other Half of the Energy is outputted immidiately until all the Matter/Antimatter (except a few Stored Antimatteratoms for later uses) is converted to Energy at a 1:1-ratio. Hmm, sounds a bit like EE.

And why it should rain Diamonds? (UUM is a bit understandable)

this wasn't a suggestion this was an inquiry into how people believed teleporters work in industrial craft so how do you think they work?

Im not saying teleporters have no warfare use, im saying that teleporters ONLY moves a person/object from point a to point b. That Object may very well be a Nuke into a Nuke resistant bunker, or a bullet or whatever.

If you talk about only desintegrating the target without moving it elsewhere, then thats a totally diferent thing. (Related or not to the teleporter, but its not a teleporter.)

and with a knowledge of what teleporters do to move you in mind what cool new things can be done? like an anti creeper ban hammer? or a turn sheep into pigs machine? sure by definition teleporters only move things but with teleporter technology you can molecularity take things apart shake them them around and put the back together differently there is so much more that could be done with that than just go from point a to point b

[slime ball]+[undetermined items(golden apple? glistening melon? ghast tears? redstone?)]=[healing goo]
[healing goo]+[bed]+[advanced circiut]+[undetermined number of reinforced glass blocks]=[healing bed]
the ghast tears and glistening melons are ingredients for vanilla healing potions so its the only stuff i could think of in minecraft with actual healing properties unless alblaka adds some thing

Under-Exploited? Teleports are pretty straight foward, a machine that moves a person or object from Point A to Point B, anything that doesnt fit that quality its NOT a teleporter.

you rarely see the tech and science that makes that possible used elsewhere. if teleporters are possible what else is as a result?

It would be nice to have the resin wood just so we can have floors be the same color and style as our staircases and half blocks. These new wood colors are playing havoc with my designs, because the staircases/half-steps only come in one color.

so you want the spray-able wood planks part of the suggestion?

Also just FYI, resin-infused wood burns much hotter and more violently than standard wood. Now, chemically treated wood could potentially have reduced flammability, depending on the treatment. Maybe the resin would just have some natural chemical in it that makes the wood less inflammable?

that was sort of a hand wave just like making curable resin in a barrel

I don't really agree with the CF-spray being that expensive... early-mid game you are getting your macerator/furnace/extractor/compressor so its about that time you expand your base or build a larger one, so CFspray fits right into that time frame. Having an even more primitive version that you could make your first house out of would be a neat way to increase your building options, though. Imo it definitely should not have any sort of blast resistance advantage over cobble, because you are using the spray for convenience and barely paying anything for it, at that.

ok then just call it a plain alternative to CF. as for blast resistance the idea was more along the lines of equal with either cobble or wood depending on popular consensus.

I'd like to see some sort of resin infused sawdust that you can spray on your floor and make a tidy, uniform floor that can be painted. It wouldn't fill an entire block, just the top surface of your floor (similar to how you paint the CFwall).

like how sticky resin can be placed as a 1/4 block that slows movement but comes in a variety of colors and isn't sticky? i think they call that linoleum

true it would make sense unless the matter was confined there is to much space available for the free floating matter alter its environment. i would just like to pause say thanks for helping be test the suspension of disbelief fenrix (unpause). so whats stopping this from turning into a creeper vaporizing gun or hammer? what if the free floating atoms were contained? I've said before that teleporters are some of the most (for lack of a better word) under-exploited scifi technologies so i'm curious to see what people believe can bee done with them beside moving from point a to point b

so for number 6 is it possible to saturate an area with free floating atoms and if so what happens?
    1. death by suffocation to all life?
    2. boom?
    3. random clusters of atoms materialize (like dirt and scrap type stuff)?
    4. fog/dust/goo?
    5. it rains uumatter and diamonds?
    6. Creeper-Apocalypse?
    7. endermen, ender dragons, or end portals show up?
    8. random clusters of atoms materialize (like the stuff you've been de-materializing type stuff)?
    9. don't know but I think I can make a generator run off this?
    10. atoms just get pushed further and further out with no risk of reactions or explosions
    11. increased chance for stormy weather

for number 3 the receiving pad doesn't need to be powered by mfe or mfsu so do the reassembling atoms power the pad? or is it some sort of trick of extra dimensional geometry or what not where the atoms know a pad when they see one and know how to put themselves back together?

so if some one got a teleport pad to de-materialize someone and send the atoms off with out a destination what would logically happen?
    1. boom?
    2. it rains uumatter and diamonds?
    3. the atoms zip back to the transmitting pad cause its the only one they can find?
    4. the matter converts to raw energy turning the teleport pad into a generator?
    5. atoms collect and re-materialize in odd places?
    6. atoms just dissipate and over time meld with their environment?
