Welp, there's your problem. Nuclear Reactors received massive changes in version 1.106, so the recipes you are looking at are for a future version, and Dense Copper Plate does not exist in your current version.

Well i tried the the watermill thing with a thermopile and the batbox can:t feed the retriever with enough bluticity and it somehow messed up.. But the Nuclear idea not bad but can you give me the uranium cells' setup? And the reactor's fomation/setup?
There's a thread literally devoted to just this [OFFICIAL] List of good reactor designs
What version of IC2 do you have?
GregoriusT
Watch Kane Whine about how Gregtech is not Hard EnoughUp for the challenge without Nerfing the spawn/usage?
Kane, I think you may be incredibly lucky, from my like 5+ trips to the end for mining, I have only found 4 Sheldonite (Cooperite in code, I see what Greg did there), I wasn't even certain it could appear as an asteroid until I went into Creative to look for it.
Shouldn't this go to the Addon Discussion section as it discusses the modding of IC2?
I think it makes more sense in Support because it is asking for help with coding a mod that is meant mostly for vanilla stuff, and just wants to add compatibility for one thing.
Hey! Thats not bad but what do you mean "automate it with machinery", machinery like bc engines and pipes?
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Fez3O3NP72s
just replace solar panels with thermopiles.
EDIT: This might also be of use http://forum.feed-the-beast.co…-2-thermopile-setup.5396/
QuoteThe jokes shouldn't be deleted, but they should be separated and condensed into smaller nuggets in the articles, written more as asides than anything else.
They're already at the bottom of the pages they are on, I don't know how to say "don't like it, don't read it" better than that.
QuoteThe "secrets" BS needs to go. It's an antiquated notion that should be done with and in lieu the recipes should just be hidden by spoiler. I don't see how giving the community their information would at all be detrimental to its light-hearted jokey-ness. In fact, by having secret pages and secret recipes you effectively cut off a portion of the community and deter it from growing.
I don't really agree, I think it is effective at what it is meant for, telling people that there are, in fact, secrets, it more or less encourages people learning the secrets from other people after using the mod for some time, I'm not certain I know them all and I have been using this mod for about a year now. Some are out there for people that search for them like the glowstone dust recipe, the thread about how to maximize fuel (super fuel of a kind), and the fact that if you insert a ████████ ███████ into a compressor, it creates an infinite feedback loop resulting in [DATA EXPUNGED] and an explosion equivalent to 2.47 nukes set off simultaneously. Anyway, I feel that if anything it encourages a growing community, people might be inclined to ask each other what they know that isn't listed on the wiki, it's not like anything actually important is a secret recipe (unless it totally is, and I'm unaware of it).
QuoteThis mod would only benefit from a wiki that does it justice rather than the current incomplete out of date and all too ineffective wiki that only curtails the endeavors of those working to better it.
I don't see what you mean, is the wiki hard to understand? Back when I first started using IndustrialCraft, that wiki was literally all I had to go on, I never had any problems understanding a certain subject or item. Also, "incomplete" and "out of date", how so? Besides secrets, I'm pretty certain all of the items, blocks, and concepts are listed on there, as well as it being up to date with all recent changes to the mod (Reactors mainly).
QuoteIf anyone can tell me why this noble cause was abandoned or who might be willing to take up the mantle, please don't hesitate a second more.
As far as I know, this "noble cause" was abandoned simply because there were not that many people that were signed up to do it, either that or the job was considered finished, I don't actually know, but those seem to be the most likely to me.
Geothermal from the Nether perhaps?
512 EU max input for the MFSU, use an HV Transformer to take the power down to a usable leve.
You can convert any planks to Oak with Thermal Expansion. Magic!
No, SCIENCE!
Hey Greg, can you make the Machines not actually "consume"* the item it is processing? Or at least add a stop button, because if your power generation does not equal 128eu/t You are forced to disconnect the line, to finish that operation. Otherwise it takes infinite energy and does nothing with it. I realize there is a config to stop that behavior, but i like playing with the harder features.
* The machines take the item, and you cannot take it out, therefore allowing for infinite power loss.
That's the point, the machines require a flawless energy line in order to function, if put on hard mode.
Your a FEESSSSHHH SLAPPER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It needs to announce to the whole server "FISH KILL!" every time someone is PVP'd with a fish.
Your point? I've provided my opinion, people see it, that's good enough for me.
Shouldn't you have posted your ideas here? If anyone wants to see what he's talking about http://paste.ubuntu.com/1481403/ but you basically just told people to go to the Minecraft Forums to find the thread with a link to your ideas, it would have been much easier just to post a link.
You said somewhere you plan to make your own railcraft style
electric blast furnace for steel production within your own mod.
Dude, that's been in for like 50+ versions.
Well, the first time I checked that section, it was locked. How was I supposed to know that a LOCKED forum had important information in it?
Well the section does say "Merely an archive for old-reported bugs. Please check our new bugtracker at http://bt.industrial-craft.net"
First you need to edit the mod config files to make the RedPower and IndustrialCraft IDs not conflict, then you need to match your map's config file to the IC2 mod config file, then it should work.
I do agree that single use batteries need some kind of a rework, I have never used them unless a scrap box has given one to me, although I'm not certain the canning machine is the way to do it, perhaps have some sort of energy tier system of them, as in you would craft a battery hull and then craft it with a plantball, coal dust, redstone, gunpowder, glowstone dust, etc. to gain an increase in the energy it contains.
6 Advaced Machine Casings and 20 Reinforced Machine Casings for a Vacuum Freezer?! What do you have planned for this thing?!
(Or GregTech: Hey dude, your weapon isn't working
at allproperly ^^)
I assure you, the Tesla Staff is working exactly as intended.
I believe a macerator recipe is: Ic2Recipes.addMaceratorRecipe(input, output); where input is the ItemStack being macerated and output is the ItemStack being output as a result of maceration.
For compressor it works exactly the same way: Ic2Recipes.addCompressorRecipe(input, output);
