Unfortunately it is not possible to destroy a MFSU and have it keep its energy, although if you want to pick it up you can use a wrench or an electric wrench . Your setup looks alright, however once you convert down to lv you should probably be using copper cables as they can handle up to 32 eu per packet and they have much less eu loss per wire

So basically an internal item storage for recyclers? Personally my cobble generator is running absolutely fine with two overclockers, can you give a situation other than mass recycling where this would be useful?

Do not click the spoilers if you have not read the story
QuoteWell, that didn’t matter. Dreams, after all, were just that: Dreams. And he had to catch some sleep now, tired dragons wouldn’t hunt well in the morning...
I had a full "wat" moment at this part
Was this a tie in to TDC Chapter 3?
Overall interesting story idea definitely, I like how it starts practically at the climax of the story and then spirals down from there gradually revealing more pieces to what is going on with the exception of the
twist ending (epilogue?) referenced in the other spoiler, I think that gave the plot a minor secondary climax

I just try to mostly use UU-Matter for currency because while it isn't exactly rare like uranium, nobody is not going to accept a sufficient amount of UU-Matter in a trade and I like the variability of it in that it can become practically anything. While UU-Matter can't be used to produce energy directly, I prefer it due to the way that as you gain more and more power generation you start accumulating more wealth

Are you certain you aren't using IC2 1.95? In that version they were crafted with insulated copper cables instead of 2x insulated gold
-
Are you using the normal macerator or a mod one? None of these mods seem like they would result in the macerator producing double dust from one ingot

I think good natural currency system is uranium-based. 1 Uranium Block = 9 Uranium Ingots = 72 Near-Depleted Uranium Cells, all stackable.
I kind of like industrial credits more than using uranium because they literally serve no other purpose than trading, on the other hand I need that uranium for nuclear reactors -
A Fez
Uranium-238
Cats
A bowtie
The answer to life, the universe, and everythingI'd like to see you try to fit these together, this will be interesting

Any way to get the running mod list without a crash?
Only see that tidy mod listing when minecraft crashes... not sure how to get it except through a crash.
Perhaps go into your mods folder and hit the print screen button?

Your idea is alright in principle, it's kind of like the Millenaire system, but I don't think that Minecraft base code allows for stacks of above 64, other than that I think your idea is alright but the one problem I see is the possibility of downgrading, the current coins can be used to regain some of the refined iron that goes into making them, so would these new coins do the same? If they do then I could just use a few UU-Matter to make enough for one iridium coin and downgrade it to copper for whatever the copper equivalent of 100,000 copper coins would be when crafted, allowing for much cheaper UU-Matter copper

I was saying it would most likely not work with a geothermal generator, the 45 block distance along with the energy loss of 1x gold insulated cable makes the math work out perfectly to where that is the exact distance that no eus would continue to transfer, how much gold wiring do you have connected to that mfsu? If it's 72 with the addition of the 45 cables that you connected to the electric furnace, then you should 2x insulate the gold wiring, switch to insulated copper cabling, switch glass fibre cable, or use a network of transformers along the way to deal with the energy loss from the 1x insulated gold cable
-
What addons are you using? According to the wiki and personal experience, this should obviously not be happening
-
How are you transferring the energy as in through an MFSU, MFE, Batbox or a type of generator? Would you by any chance happen to be using a geothermal generator with 1x insulated gold wiring?

so you guys are saying there's no solution? ( I APOLOGIES FOR USING TEKKIT I DIDN'T REALIZE EVERYONE HATED IT)
Yeah, no solution that I know of as it definitely seems to be a Tekkit related problem due to nobody here having encountered it in normal IC2. Also you don't have to apologize for using Tekkit, while most people may hate it in this case it was necessary to say you use it for the purpose of finding out about the bug, what I (and a few other people) hate is when people do things like make suggestions and throw in a random "oh by the way I use Tekkit" which has no relevance to the post at all

Personally, I find them to be a riot.
Yeah, they can be hard to understand at times but overall the point of the mods they spotlight gets through and a house, or two, or ten thousand gets destroyed along the way -
About the modpacks.
Read the IC-release notes please. If this is what you are talking about, it's not a modpack and no money is made off it, therefore it is completely within IC2's policy
-
You are crossbreeding by planting crop blocks on crop blocks right? Because by the look of your setup it seems that weeds are growing 100% of the time, at worst my crops at ground level have gotten weeds 65-70% of the time
-
That occasionally happens for me whenever I craft an item that can hold eus and with an item that can hold eus, as in the item's eus don't transfer to the newer item's eus and display that they did, but it's never happened to me like this where logging out causes it so I think it's a Tekkit problem

Mike, i would recommend you to watch someone less annoying on Youtube. There are quite a few "more scientific" 1.4-Spotlights by Docm77.
But Greg, it's GameChap and Bertie here! -
I personally like the idea of a scanner like the divining rod. Like the OV scanner, except it gives the value of the most valuable ore found.
Well then instead of an EE copy using eus he should suggest an upgrade to the already existing OV scanner that would list the most valuable ores inside of like a 12x12x12 radius
