Wow that sounds almost EXACTLY like the function of the OV Scanner, except not completely overpowered like the divining rod and the whole copying directly from EE for an IC2 tool

Wait, scatter is overpowered? I think scatter is the most useless mode in mining laser.
Yeah that's my opinion too, just because it does a lot of mining in one shot does not mean it makes the ores easy to pick up, I know, I have tried
-
Can you state what the problem is? I don't see anything here except an overabundance of weeds, in that case apply weed-ex liberally about once every 1-3 hours on crop blocks with no crops in them

I definitely like the idea, except for the heat gun as I never use superheat, have you thought of any crafting recipes? I love the current mining laser recipe as is, perhaps just use a variation with the redstone replaced with something for the digging laser

I claim Red Team.
Claim as in lead? Or as in conquer? -
In normal generators it is entirely possible to waste eus by burning coal with just under the maximum storage already in the machine, I don't think that it works in geothermal generators however, and to answer your question there is no way to change generator behavior through a redstone signal similar to how the energy storage devices work

Just saw this post from Jeb. Would be nice if they'd stop doing this crap. (like the rapid fire 1.2.x series) I'm sure the forge team isn't going to be pleased at this one...
I think I'm more worried by his most recent tweets on "the snapshot" being released -
+1, this will also help watermill users.
GASP! SpwnX, what about the windmills! SOMEBODY THINK OF THE WINDMILLS! -
Probably a dumb question, but who's FC?
Better Than Wolves creator known for making his mod incompatible with literally every other mod out there except for buildcraft with his Better Than Buildcraft mod -
Okay yeah with a little intelligence wind mills become a 100% reliable energy source, but to your water using claim, do you watch Direwolf20 videos? Recently that's been one of his main sources of power with a retriever, deployer, and a filter. The water system produces 2 eu/t from each water mill and you get 2 water mills for a generator, 6 wood, and 3 iron per bucket as opposed to getting one wind mill for 4 iron and a generator, and doing the math out windmills at maximum safe height produce about 3.32 eu/t and so for bases that are ground based like the ones I use they would produce approximately 1.85 eu/t, through water mills I can produce more eus overall for less resources especially if my base is deep underground like I have done in several cases

I was new to Thaumcraft back then, and didn't know about cool stuff like
the wand of equal trade. But Anzour, or however that name is spelt, is
going to change the taint mechanics massively in a unreleased way. I'm
staying tuned. This is what worries me about Thaumcraft 3 (Arcanacraft), if I remember correctly Azanor stated that he was no longer going to use the vis/taint opposing forces and he was opening up the thread to suggestions for what it should consist of, 4/5ths of them I didn't think had any salvageable idea that I would want in a mod and some were needlessly complex like one about using a telescope to chart out stars and acquiring research that way
-
Yeah it can be an inconvenience at times when your enemy is firing at you and you forgot you had your laser on horizontal way away from explosive or long distance, but are you simply asking like a poll or are you going to make a suggestion like a mining laser gui?
-
I quite like what the landscape looks like after a battle with lasers. It also provides some balance. You don't want to use mining lasers around your base, or else you end up fixing quite a few holes.
I learned that the hard way, let's just say my MFSU doesn't enjoy its demotion to a simple machine block

I feel like a dick for not doing this earlier, so I'm using comic sans just to make up for it. I love this mod it's definitely the #1 SMP mod I know of (sorry it's a toss up between this and Thaumcraft for SSP) but anyway here's my thanks for the time and effort that has gone into this project and since everyone else is doing it
EXTREMELY OVERSIZED COLORFUL THANK YOU -
Agree.
I think two circuits for one panel is too much.
Wind and water gens are mostly start and forget too.I don't really see them as such, panels you plop down, instant eu, water gens require systems of Redpower machines with a blutricity requirement, to produce any meaningful amount of energy; they aren't exact plop down and receive instant eus, wind gens could be considered start and forget, but you have to take into account the possibility of breaking at high heights requiring maintenance which if you work out the math on it you can make it so it doesn't break, but once again, it's not really the whole plop generator down and attach cable ease of solars, so even though I do use solars for starting energy (I don't like high bases, and I can never get ender pearls for retrievers) I think that the two circuits is completely justified

I'm really liking this server so far, I've got a good setup going with (finally) a THX helicopter safely hidden away, but the people on here are practically impossible to find. I took my helicopter out for its first spin and over the course of the next hour I only found evidence of people having been at places like 10 different times, but never anything close to a base, and I had to end my journey with just an electric jetpack, a generator, and some leather I found near a suspiciously nuclear-sized hole. That being said it definitely lives up to its name of being hardcore as that death ban ensures every death is like stepping into lava, I just wish the craters would regenerate from the miner apocalypse plugin as I joined way too late to experience those

I prefer PC to Mac mainly because of the cost, for a high end Mac you can end up paying 1.5-2x what you would for a good PC, while Macs may run faster and more efficiently (I sometimes have an uncontrollable urge to drop kick Windows) overall I prefer PC just because of simplicity in its uses, it's much more compatible with games, and the fact that replacement parts are readily available without the need to go to places to get them fixed, also not trying to start a flame war here, but I just don't like Apple very much and I personally hate apple fanboys like this one guy I know that always asks people if they watched the 3 hour long release of Apple's latest "upgrade" to the IPhone

Damnit Direwolf! I need sleep, but Wrenched is so addictive it's hard to stop watching
