how about like the charge pads? two recipes for upper level engines, one with the previous level engine and one without. or like the iron chest mod, upgrade items that could upgrade the engines in place?Hmmm... Maybe.... I'll think about it later when I don't have lunch.

why? It would make some sense to do that with power generators, but not converters.Because then if people accidentally make two engines, they can use one to upgrade.

There are source codes, you know.
Nobody really has taken the time to update them however... I was gonna *try* to update it, but failed and abandoned that project. Maybe I will considering trying to do it again... I doubt it though. -
Jup, short after my question I noticed that it actually doesn't make sense to upgrade the transformers.
Thanks, can't wait to see a working version of it to use them!Yeah... Also, one of the reasons why the engines aren't working, is because, the engine will not recognize the energy flowing into it. I know this because, if I turn a lever on, it should make redstone particle effects, and make the charge bar in the gui appear.

Transformers? Do you mean the engines or the actual blocks? If you mean the engines, then no. You can upgrade them, but to another tier of it. Like, you to make a higher tier of an engine, you need the lower tier of it. HV needs MV, MV need LV, and LV is a different recipe. All of the block recipes will end up like this.

Fixed it! It turns the energy icon on when the block is powered by redstone.
