Trying to pull power from an older IC2 eu reactor, have tried several different transformers and battery buffers. Reactor is currently just a breader running at 5 eu but was 20 still not get a charge to the batteries even after depleting multiple fuel rods.
WTF am I doing wrong? Gregtech 5u 08.32

You need an IC2 power storage block (BatBox, CESU, MFE, or MFSU - make sure you don't use one with voltage higher than the transformer can handle) feeding the transformer. It won't work directly from a reactor or other power generation block.

you have to place the GT Batter Buffer next to the reactor to work, it won't take power from IC2 cables, not entirely sure if you can GT - Cables with the reactor (on 5.09.xx). Also IC2 cable to an batbox/MFE/MFSU/etc. and a GT bat buffer right next to it should work. See Gregtech Energy for Details.

Thought this may be the case thank you!

No Problem, you are welcome.
