Rubber treas keep respawning after I cut them

Hi guys!

I have IC2 and for some reason, rubber trees keep respawning in the exact same place after I cut them. I'm playing in creative mode and if I cut down a rubber tree and leave the area, the tree will be there again when I come back. Its really annoying because they spawn in random places and they are totally destroying the look of my city (lots of big houses with large lawns). I tried using the /fill command to remove them but they still come back.

Help me out please and thanks!

P.S: I posted this a while back, but can't find it in the forums now. I'm not sure if the tread was deleted or if there was some problem on my end. If the mods deleted or moved it, then I sorry

Are you sure that is not the Spawnprotected Area?

Is that Rubbertree very close to X 0, Z 0 ?

No this happens to all the rubber tress in the world, not just one. I also started a new game, but the problem doesn't go away

Update: I just realized that this problem is with the blocks too that IC2 adds, not just the rubber trees.

Retrogen means, that IC2 ores will spawn, even though the world has already been generated, when IC2 wasn't installed yet.
You can check, if it's enabled, by looking in the config file.

When you say Blocks, do you mean worldgenerated Blocks or actual Machines?

Also Aroma, if its Ores, remember that Ores need Stone to spawn in, so if that would not just affect Rubber Trees but also Ores, then it cannot be retrogen. Also removing the Dirt Block the Rubber Tree was standing on, would cause it to not regenerate, since it needs Dirt to spawn on.

No, I mean world generated blocks. For example today I made a huge stone wall for a fort, came back a while later and found 2 ore blocks in the stone.

Is Retrogen enabled in your config file (the IC2.ini file in your config folder)

Question aroma. Shouldnt this be a bugreport?
Because retrogen should only regen a chunk ones and then ignore it because it put a flag on the chunk that will prevent the loading in the current settings.
In other words that retrogen works only once with 1 setup. And you need to change the setup of retrogen in the config to override it.
Else you are retrogening all chunks over and over and over just when the player moves... (AKA this scenario)

Edit: Default retrogen:
You set copper to retrogen it will put in every chunk a 4 and every chunk that gets loaded and has a flag parameter of 4 gets ignored.
While a combo of tin & copper have 7 and it will retrogen every chunk that has not the flag parameter of 7. But every time it does that it will ignore it.

Thats basicly lag preventation while proper retrogen.

For now, you can disable the retrogen to prevent this from happening.
I'll fix it later, if I remember to.
