IC2 does not work in Ultimate Reloaded

    Hey there!


    I installed the FTB Pack Ultimate Reloaded. I'm currently at version 1.3.0 (MC: 1.12.2, forge-14.23.5.2811) and the server

    is running on 1.3.0 as well. The server is rented by me.


    It works fine so far but I came across a problem with IC2. I cannot craft anything relating to IC2. I wanted to craft

    the Forge Hammer but it does not work. I put in the right materials in the right order but I can't see the hammer on

    the output slot. For testing purposes I gave myself a hammer in Creative Mode but with the hammer I could not craft

    any iron plates as well.


    I got the problem with the version before 1.3.0 either. Both, client and server, are running with the same IC2 version (industrialcraft-2-2.8.111-ex112).


    Is there a solution?

    Ultimate Reloaded uses a completely different recipe set, I'd recommend double checking recipes using JEI to see how they've changed. In short though you won't need a hammer at all (hence it has no recipe) and likely won't need cutters either unless you're (de)insulating cables in world.

    145 Mods isn't too many. 9 types of copper and 8 types of tin aren't too many. 3 types of coffee though?

    ) and he crafts a hammer apparently. But ok, when I do not need a hammer or a cutter how do I make i.e. iron plates? When I have a look at the IC2 wiki, it tells me to craft these two tools in order to get started ...

    When I double check the recipe of the hammer it does not show me the receipe at all. Instead, I get an information how I can enhance it ...


    And: why can the youtuber craft all those things when he uses the same mod pack?

    The video was posted a little over a week before the pack was, and there were additional recipes changes between when it was recorded and when the pack was publicly released. Relying on the IC2 wiki using the default recipes therefore is not necessarily the best of ideas when the recipes have been changed (repeatedly) by the modpack; hence blindly aiming for iron plates for example might not actually be what you want to do. I'd strongly recommend looking at the recipes of what you are aiming to make to see how they have changed, rather than the individual components you expect to need (given that said components might well be different).

    I see this too much.

    Even watching the recipes is impossible to do anything, nothing seems to work in Industrial Craft. I tried deleting the scripts folder and installing a new version of IC2 but it was not solved either. :(

    There is no problem with IC2 or the pack. The pack uses different recipes to what IC2 uses by default, so you have to account for that.
