I'm not really sure what causes this crash, but it has happened whenever my friends and I have created a storage room (i.e. a room with a lot of chests) and we place or remove something the interferes with lighting. It may not be right, but that's my observation. I took a SS of the cmd.exe where the log is.

the same thing is happening with me on my server. when we remove torches we get crashes. idk if this is just a 1.8.1 bug or something with IC2.

I have never played IC² on a Server but i think the Problem is caused by the Client light settings (Turn off smoothlightning, change the brightness)
I think that helps. -
this problem will cause machine faces to stop rendering without crush on properly installed client without other mods.
check your mods.
