[IC2 1.15] OV scanners in miners don't seem to work

I did a search, but the only other thread related to this is in the archive because the OP asked for it be deleted, apparently.

OT:I've done some tests and I'm almost 100% sure they don't work on the 9x9 grid they're supposed to. I wish I could explain further, but that's the best I can do.

Other mods installed:
Buildcraft 2.2.1
Zeldo's additional pipes for Buildcraft
SinglePlayerMods (the latest one 2.12.1, I think it was)
TooManyItems (the latest 1.8.1 one)
Matmos (I'm.. actually not sure which one)

And I THINK that's all.

Do I need to record it in FRAPS or something before it's believable?

That's nothing but iron ore worldedited into a hole made by a Buildcraft quarry.
